| NYCC 2016: ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Trailer Keanu Reeves Is Out Of Retirement, Again
For a guy who says he is out of the game, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) certainly has a hard time grasping the concept of retirement. Which is a good thing for us, especially if you were a fan of the first film. Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer today for John Wick: Chapter 2 at the New York Comic-Con. The first film, 2014’s John Wick, was very ambitious but caught everyone’s attention because of the visually appealing stylized action, and now it looks like returning director Chad Stahelski is turning it up in the sequel that will see the title character doing so much more than kick ass in a tailored suit. The first trailer for John Wick, the upcoming action flick starring Keanu Reeves, has been released. You can watch it here below In this new film from Lionsgate, Reeves stars as John Wick, a former hitman who’s now the target of a crime boss. The kicker? His would-be assassin is an old friend. You can see from the trailer that Wick was no ordinary hitman and that having a hit put on him for a change has “reactivated” his old killer instincts.

One of the movies that was relatively unknown but grabbed a lot of attention at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con 2010 was director Jonathan Liebesman‘s (Darkness Falls, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) alien invasion movie, Battle: Los Angeles. The movie is supposedly presented in real-time, following a team of Marines as they enter into a zone of Los Angeles that is under attack by aliens. It’s been compared to movies like Independence Day and District 9 mixed with a lot of Black Hawk Down. It stars Aaron Eckhart (Thank You For Smoking, The Dark Knight), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar, Machete), Bridget Moynahan (i, Robot, Lord of War), Michael Pena (Crash, Observe and Report), and Ne-Yo (Stomp the Yard, Red Tails).
