Captain America: Civil War opened with $181.1 million last weekend, giving it the fifth highest opening weekend. Globally, the film is closing in on $500 million and will likely pass $700 million soon. In addition to its commercial success, critics gave the film overwhelmingly positive reviews – you can read our reviews here and here.

In the past few weeks, artists over at Poster Posse have been sharing their take on the film through various prints from different artists. In 2011, Super Soldier Steve Rogers made his debut in Joe Johnston’s Captain America: The First Avenger. Influenced by Raiders of the Lost Ark and Johnston’s own 1991 film, The Rocketeer, The First Avenger was designed as a ’40s adventure serial. 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, was a ’70s political thriller in the vein of Three Days of the Condor and All the President’s Men.

This week, Anthony Russo and his brother Joe Russo, the directors of Marvel Studios’ soon-to-open Captain America: Civil War and the forthcoming two-part event Avengers: Infinity War, sat down with the good folks of Screen Junkies responsible for their hilarious – and often infuriating – “Honest Trailers” series to dissect and discuss with warm candor the Honest Trailer made for their first major Marvel Movie – 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Captain America: Civil War finds our Steve Rogers leading a newly formed Avengers to continue to protect the world from lethal threats. But no good deed goes unpunished, and when a routine mission to apprehend a terrorist goes horribly wrong, the United Nations installs a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.
