| ‘Valerian and The City Of A Thousand Planets’ Trailer: Luc Besson’s Stunning Sci-Fier Looks Epic
Summer movie season is of course filled with blockbuster tentpoles, but there are a few other films to look forward to, especially if you are looking for an escape. But if you don’t want to see those superhero films, then Luc Besson‘s (Léon: The Professional, The Fifth Element) Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets might be just your thing. Based on the french comic written by Pierre Christin and illustrated by Jean-Claude Mézières, the film stars Dane DeHaan as Valerian and Cara Delevingne as Laureline, as they travel through the outskirts of space for an adventure unlike any other. A teaser trailer for the movie has been released, and can be seen below.

| Watch Now: ‘The Knick’ Season 2 Trailer
The first trailer has been released for season two of The Knick, the Cinemax series from Traffic and Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh and starring Clive Owen. The show is a hospital drama, set in the early 1900s in New York, following a talented doctor (played by Owen) known for creating new ways to treat various medical complications while also battling some personal demons. Robert Rodriguez has been promising a sequel to Sin City, the 2005 over-the-top noir comic adaptation he co-directed with its creator Frank Miller, since the original became a smash hit in theaters and on home video. Up until a few months ago there had not been much movement on the project outside of unfulfilled promises and expectations, but production on the upcoming Sin City: A Dame to Kill For – a sequel that will be a combination of previously published comic stories and all-new material conceived by Miller – has been going on at Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas for a while now. Every week seems to bring exciting news on the casting front with original stars Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, and Jaime King reprising their roles alongside new cast members Josh Brolin (playing Dwight, Clive Owen‘s character from the original), Jamie Chung (stepping in for Devon Aoki as the deadly sword-wielding Miho), Dennis Haysbert (replacing the late Michael Clarke Duncan as brutal underworld enforcer Manute), Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Christopher Meloni, and most interesting of all, Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

| Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Star In ‘Sin City 2’; Won’t Be In Marvel’s ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’
We recently found out that Joseph Gordon-Levitt had become one of the candidates for the lead in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. It seemed like he would immediately jump to the top of Marvel’s list, but that news has a quick ending to it. It’s being reported that Gordon-Levitt will be starring in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller‘s long-awaited sequel to Sin City, titled Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Because of this, the actor will not be appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy after all.
