| First ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ Image Has Emily Blunt Looking Very Dapper
We are still over a year away from the release of Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to the 1964 musical hit Mary Poppins. Based on PL Travers‘ works, the film follows the title character as she returns to London to help Michael rediscover joy after he suffers a personal heavy loss. Emily Blunt takes on the title role once played by Julie Andrews, and she will be accompanied by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Meryl Streep. The film is still in production, but Disney has released our very first look of Blunt as Mary Poppins. Check it out here below.

Much of the massive cast of the 2003 holiday favorite romantic comedy Love Actually are about to reunite for a sequel to show fans of the movie what the characters are up to 14 years later in the year 2017. The sequel won’t be a full movie, however, but a short created for the charity event Red Nose Day. It will even be called Red Nose Day Actually. Production for Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns has begun. Directed by Rob Marshall (Into The Woods), the sequel to the 1964 musical will see the return of the title character (now played by Emily Blunt) as she re-enters the lives of the Banks’ children, who are now older, after Michael (Ben Whishaw) suffers a personal loss. | Channing Tatum Is Joining The Cast Of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’
The gleefully violent, vulgar, and witty spy spoof Kingsman: The Secret Service, based on the comic series The Secret Service created by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, was destined to get a sequel after grossing $414 million at the global box office last year. Luckily for us fans of the film, writer-director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class), his writing partner Jane Goldman (Stardust, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children), and newcomer leading man Taron Egerton (Eddie the Eagle, Legend) will all be returning for the sequel, which is now going by the name Kingsman: The Golden Circle. It now appears as if a Hollywood heavy-hitter is preparing to join the colorful, globe-trotting mayhem as 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike star Channing Tatum has signed on to play an unspecified role.

By the end of the weekend at this year’s Oscars, one of eight nominated films will be added to an eternal list of Academy Award-winning Best Pictures. This year’s nominees run the gamut of genres. There are two films detailing modern scandals (Spotlight, The Big Short), two “based on true story” historical set pieces (Bridge of Spies, The Revenant), one little international indie film (Brooklyn), a deep emotionally wrenching drama (Room), a film about someone lost in space”¦ again (The Martian), and a kick ass action thrill ride (Mad Max: Fury Road). Are these the actual best films of 2015? Well, that depends on personal preference and opinion. Based on box office, this year’s nominees weren’t close to being the most popular films. Only one — The Martian — finished in the top 10 grossing films of the year, and only three total were in the top 21. So if the eight nominees aren’t your cup of tea, here are the Top 10 films of 2015 NOT nominated for Best Picture…
