We were right there when Ray Palmer showed the hologram to Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards)…

And we saw the stills…

Now we get to see Brandon Routh don his Atom costume in the promo video here below for Arrow 1.15 “Nanda Parbat.” It’s just a tiny glimpse at the end of the video, but we know now that Ray Palmer’s Atom suit is ready to go.

Arrow fans have known from the start that Ray Palmer aka The Atom was on the way to Starling City in Season 3 last October. Geeks of Doom heralded the arrival of Brandon Routh as the new billionaire owner of Queen Enterprises, along with some other fresh faces, back in September (read about that here). Now, after months of teasing holograms of Palmer’s “special project,” the first official photo of Brandon Routh as The Atom has been released.

In the comics, the Atom has the ability to shrink to minuscule size and has superhuman strength. It looks like Palmer will only have the strength for now, but who knows? Something else to squeal about — another Flash/Arrow crossover with The Atom crossing over, too!

Hot off reprising his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens, Mark Hamill is set to play a slightly lesser known role he played once upon a time a long, long time ago.

It’s being reported that Hamill is set to play James Jesse, better known as the villain Trickster, in CW’s The Flash, the very same role he played in the ’90s Flash TV series. You can see a video of Hamill playing Trickster below.

Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen aka The Arrow, on TV’s Arrow made an appearance on Saturday at New York Comic-Con, where the actor answered a bunch of questions from an audience Q&A session. Amell answered questions regarding Season 3 of Arrow, staying fit for the role, new characters on the show, working with John Barrowman, and much more!

The panel also featured a surprise guest.

Arrow Season 3 premieres on the CW on October 8th at 8pm ET, with the Arrow (Stephen Amell) no longer a feared vigilante, but Starling’s darling. The show presents a reimagined tale of playboy millionaire Oliver Queen, presumed dead after his yacht disappears in a storm. He returns a different man, determined to rid Starling of all those who have “failed this city,” by donning a hood and bow as vigilante with a mission.

Arrow has brought on multiple new characters each season that have been interwoven into the tapestry with ease and this upcoming season we can expect no different. So, here is what we know so far about who’s coming from the DC universe (and a few not found there) for Season 3.
