NYCC 2019: ‘The Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek; Plus Lauren Cohan To Return, Paola Lázaro Joins As ‘Princess’

The Walking Dead is headed into its 10th season tonight, and in traditional New York Comic-Con fashion, its cast and crew hyped the upcoming installment of the AMC drama at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Saturday. Moderator Chris Hardwick took the stage to show the first five minutes of the Season 10 premiere alongside Cailey Fleming, Danai Gurira, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Josh McDermitt, Norman Reedus, chief content officer Scott M. Gimple, Seth Gilliam, showrunner Angela Kang, executive producer Robert Kirkman, and producer David Alpert.

NYCC 2017 Interview: AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Cast and Creators

AMC’s The Walking Dead has become a household topic, with the series’ popularity remaining high as it prepares to unveil its eighth season, premiering with its 100th episode, later this month. Geeks of Doom had the opportunity to participate in a press conference and Q&A this weekend with the show’s cast members and producers at New York Comic-Con 2017.

New TV Series Based On Joe Hill’s ‘Locke & Key’ Being Developed

IDW Entertainment has announced that a new TV series is being developed based on Locke & Key, the comic book series of the same name written by Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel RodrÃguez.
This isn’t the first time a Locke & Key adaptation has been developed, as fans of the comic are well aware. Both a movie and a TV series adaptations have been in the works in the past handful of years, with the TV series getting as far as a pilot episode actually being produced.

SDCC 2012: AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Panel With Season 3 Trailer

AMC’s The Walking Dead presence here on Day 2 of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con kicked off with moderator Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead) introducing the panel, including executive producers Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Gayle Anne Hurd, and showrunner Glen Mazzara, and debuting the trailer for the upcoming Season 3 (which you can watch here below).
Kirkman, who created the comic book series that the TV show is based on, said viewers can look forward to a fully stage-built yet realistic prison set. Alpert said that the series has exceeded the vision he had in his head from the comic book. Hardwick mentioned that naysayers who complained about lack of zombies early in season two, certainly had nothing to complain about by season’s end. Nicotero said he’s striving to create more realistic decomposed and hungry zombies moving forward in The Walking Dead‘s timeline. He wants to keep the audience guessing with what effects they’re going to unleash. He’s recently directed his first episode and felt it rewarding to him to finally connect with the actors.
