Air Date: Thursday, October 27th, 2016, 8:00pm Last week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, they ran into The Justice Society of America in 1942. And by “ran into” I mean “got captured by.” Nate Haywood (Nick Zano) was giddy because he met his grandfather, Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull), and tried to prove the familial connection through his dog-tags, and personal stories. We saw two of our favorite presently dead villains in the past, Eobard Thawne and Damian Darhk (Matt Letscher and Neal McDonough), in cahoots with each other and the Nazis, for nukes and a super serum. Sarah (Caity Lotz) tried to kill Darhk to prevent Laurel’s death, and Thawne ended up killing Rex Tyler (Patrick J. Adams), spurring Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) to blame Mick (Dominic Purcell). Spoilers below.

Air Date: Thursday, October 20th, 2016, 8:00pm Last week’s 2nd season premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow began as all things should… with Stephen Amell. Sigh… Nick Zano‘s Dr. Nate Haywood, historian, completed the handsome party, when he went to Oliver Queen for help in finding the legends. Apparently, the Waverider was destroyed by a nuclear bomb. They find the ship, but only Mick (Dominic Purcell) aboard in stasis. Mick told them the story of the last mission. Damian Darhk did it. So happy that Neal McDonough is back! Darhk was working with the Nazis and set it off. Rip ended up scattering the crew and leaving Mick in suspension. Spoilers below.

| HVFF: Where Heroes & Villains Feel Like Family
Between my full time day job, my children (aka the best kids in America), and the lack of extra spending money, I don’t get to go to conventions that often. I go to NYCC, but end up planting myself in a hall that doesn’t clear out after each panel (damn you main stage), furiously writing and posting everything I can for Geeks of Doom. My husband got us VIP tickets for Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in Secaucus, NJ this weekend, and I didn’t know what to expect. I knew the event was more focused, targeting a specific fan – lovers of comic books and comic-based shows. Even more specific – fans of The CW’s hit show Arrow, with Gotham, Heroes, The Flash, Comic Book Men, Agent Carter, Legends of Tomorrow, and wrestling mixed in. More below.

Air Date: Thursday, May 19th, 2016, 8:00pm Last week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, future Jax (Franz Drameh) told Stein (Victor Garber) that joining Rip (Arthur Darvill) was the right decision, planting the seed of drugging Jax to get him to comply from the beginning of the season. Turns out the Waverider crew were not complete bumbling idiots after all… the Time Masters had been manipulating them the entire time, in order to help Savage (Casper Crump) take over. If he doesn’t… the worse threat of aliens will win. The team defeated the Time Masters, after Snart (Wentworth Miller) sacrificed himself, after getting a goodbye kiss from Sarah (Caity Lotz). Savage escaped with Kendra and Carter (Ciara Renee and Falk Hentschel) as prisoners. Spoilers below.
