| Reboots Of ‘Home Alone,’ ‘Night At The Museum,’ More Coming To Disney+
During a call to talk about third quarter earnings for The Walt Disney Company, chairman and CEO Bob Iger revealed some projects that were being planned for their upcoming streaming service Disney+ which come from the company’s acquisition of Fox’s entertainment assets. We already knew that we’d be seeing things like Avatar and X-Men, but Disney has confirmed that some reboots for popular franchises including Home Alone, Night at the Museum, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid are on the way to the streaming service.

| SDCC 2019: ‘Hawkeye’ Series Finally Gives Jeremy Renner’s Character A Shot At Being The Lead
Though Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is one of the founding members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers, he never really had a major role in it. Yes, that started to change towards the end, but he is remembered as a supporting character. But that will change now that he will be the lead of his own show, simply titled Hawkeye, coming to Disney+ this fall. Though the show isn’t expected to debut until later in 2020, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige took to the stage at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the upcoming series as well as Kate Bishop, a major character in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s comic series Hawkeye #1 (December 2016). In it, Barton found himself semi-retired and teaching Young Avenger Kate Bishop the ropes of being a skillful archer. More below.

| SDCC 2019: ‘WandaVision’ Will Be “Exciting and Different and Strange”
When WandaVision was first announced as a show that would appear only on Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service, many wondered when and where the story following Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) would take place. Well, we really can’t expect to get any answers from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who was at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the upcoming series. | SDCC 2019: ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Carries Cap’s Legacy On To Disney Plus
Though Marvel’s televised series are said to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they don’t really function as one considering how Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment don’t speak to each other in a way that would make it a cohesive shared universe. However, that will be different for the Marvel TV series over at Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service. While at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige plus Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan took to the stage to talk about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and mentioned a few surprises that will include the return of some characters from the Russo Brothers’ Captain America films.
