| ‘Deadpool’ Trailer Trailer: Masterpiece Theater Presents The Merc With A Mouth |

Not going to lie, Deadpool is probably on everyone’s list of most anticipated films to watch in 2016. The unconventional anti-hero is crude, rude, and has a tendency to break the fourth wall, something that is refreshing. Ryan Reynolds will “reprise” his role as the title character, though it most definitely won’t be the same one that we saw in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The cast and crew already stopped by to present some footage from the film over at San Diego Comic-Con, and much to everyone’s delight, they got to see the footage twice. Having already promised that there would be a trailer in the coming weeks, we’ve learned that Fox would be releasing two of them: a NSFW red-band trailer, and a tamer for-all-audiences green band trailer. Now Fox has released a teaser trailer for the trailer, which is essentially the same video that was seen at Comic-Con earlier this year. Check it out after the jump.

Now, there is confirmation that we are getting two trailers released next week. Check out the exciting news below.

| Geek Peek: New ‘Deadpool’ Images Reveal A Softer Wade Wilson
It will be a few short weeks before we get to see our first look at Deadpool. We got our first look at the film during Comic-Con in early July, where we learned that this film will be an origins story for the Merc with the Mouth. The footage we saw revealed a terminally ill Wade Wilson undergoing a dangerous procedure that will turn him into the title hero Deadpool. Reaction to the footage was overwhelmingly positive, with those in attendance asking to see it again. While leaks have occasionally appeared online, Fox has released three new images of our hero, both masked and unmasked, to hold you over until the trailer debuts. Check out the three new images below.

| Geek Peek: High Resolution ‘Deadpool’ Images Released
Comic-Con got excited after 20th Century Fox released the first look at Ryan Reynolds as both Wade Wilson and Deadpool. The cast of Deadpool were at Comic-Con this past weekend, and there was no denying that we would finally be getting a comic book film that was faithful to the source material. The reaction was so overwhelmingly positive that moderator Chris Hardwick showed the footage a second time. However, it will be a while before those who didn’t get to attend Comic-Con, let alone get into Hall H, gets to see the footage. According to Reynolds, it will be at least three weeks before a trailer is released, because, according to him, the VFX are still incomplete. But if you are still hungry for anything Deadpool, Fox has released high-resolution images from the film, which should temporarily hold you over until a trailer hits the web. Check out the images below.

| Ryan Reynolds: First ‘Deadpool’ Footage Will Be Released In 3 Weeks |
 |

Those who are lucky enough to attend San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, let alone get into Hall H, are constantly reminded not to record any of the footage presented at these panels, and that they are the first people to see such footage. Of course that doesn’t stop a few people from uploading leaked videos (with terrible quality). So for fans who are anxiously waiting to see clean and crisp scenes from these properties, they wait, sometimes months on end for the exclusive video to appear. But as for Ryan Reynolds, he wants everyone to see the SDCC Deadpool video. The actor, who has been on a social media tear showing all sorts of behind-the-scenes photos from the production of the film, joined the thousands of fans at the Deadpool panel at Comic-Con Saturday. As you may have read from our coverage, this Deadpool film will be a no holds bar unfiltered R-rated adaptation of the Merc with the Mouth, and will be a movie that even “babies will love.” While Reynolds has been more than generous to share his experience on the set, he regrets to tell his fans that he cannot share what was shown at Comic-Con now, but if they are patient, they will see something in three weeks. More below.
