| Wait, What? Robert Rodriguez Casts Lady Gaga In ‘Machete Kills’
OK, so it should come as no surprise that unexpected actors are being announced for the cast of the upcoming sequel, Machete Kills. Director Robert Rodriguez is known for putting together sometimes strange and always intriguing casts, and it always seems to work out quite well. The very same is expected here. In the same way that he’s announced other casting news, such as Charlie Sheen playing the President of the United States, Rodriguez took to the Twitter to announce that pop music star Lady Gaga will also have a part in the sequel. Gaga will play someone named La Chameleon, which is assumed to be a small role as the performer has apparently already filmed her scenes. Along with the announcement, Rodriguez also released a poster of Gaga in character. You can check that out below.

| Wait, What?! Syfy NOT Moving Forward With ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome’ |
 |

This is one of those surreal moments in life, the likes of which no geek wants to experience. While writing up a short piece for the the awesome first trailer for Syfy’s Battlestar Galactica prequel, Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome, I went to find out when this exciting new series was going to finally premiere. The answer I found was: never. It’s being reported that Syfy has decided NOT to move forward with the show after years of development. As it turns out, the “trailer” was just a demo reel set to Trent Reznor and Karen O’s “Immigrant Song” cover from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that was shown at WonderCon. Syfy apparently thought it over for a long time, but ultimately decided it was not in their best interest (who cares what the fans want, right?) to continue forward with the property as a series. This might not, however, mean that we’ll never see Blood & Chrome. You can read why there’s still some hope to see this and check out the fast-paced first “trailer” by clicking on over to the other side now.

The panel began with a preview of an upcoming Dexter-themed Facebook game, created by street artist/designer Marc Ecko. Then they played an exclusive preview of the season 6 trailer [watch it here below] featuring guest stars Colin Hanks and Edward James Olmos.
