Ay Dios Mio! El Primer Trailer De ‘Machete Kills’ Está AquÃ!

Hola queridos lectores! That means, “Hello dear readers.” Gotta special little treat for you today. The first trailer for Machete Kills is now live and in full, lurid color.
You can check it out here below.
Director Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo introduce the trailer in Spanish and the narrator speaks the same language throughout the trailer, but fret not you proud hablantes de inglés because the rest of the trailer doesn’t require a Babel fish in your ear to understand. It’s a surprisingly bloodless preview, but Rodriguez is still bringing the crazy like gangbusters. A little violence here, some very pretty women there, and it’s all rounded off by a special appearance by Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States. He’s credited as “Carlos Estevez,” which all of you trivia buffs will recognize as Sheen’s birth name.

‘Machete Kills’ Release Date Set For This September

It has been three years since Robert Rodriguez turned his Grindhouse mock 70’s-style Mexploitation trailer Machete into a full-blown feature film that finally gave Danny Trejo, owner of one of the most unique movie star faces in the world, a starring role. Despite having only $10 million, Rodriguez nabbed a galaxy of rising stars and faded stars to back up Trejo and a fistful of positive reviews from B-movie geek fans and critics alike.
Machete earned over $14 million at the box office in its first weekend, but its earning potential quickly plummeted afterwards and by the time it left theaters, the movie had a total gross of $26 million. The end credits promised a forthcoming duo of insane sequels and since the original was profitable enough to warrant one so far, Rodriguez soon found himself at the helm of Machete Kills.

The ‘Scary Movie 5’ Trailer Might Just Make Your Wish The World Had Ended

Each and every one us has seen many sights that take up permanent residence in our minds, memories so horrible and traumatic we would do anything short of self-lobotomy to remove them forever. Walking in on your parents having sex, having to take your beloved ailing family pet to the veterinarian to have them put to sleep, getting bullied by your classmates in elementary school, the list goes on (and that is just my list).
Today I think we all have a new horrible memory to add to that list as the trailer for Scary Movie 5 has been released. You can watch the trailer here below, but if you decide not to no one here will think less of you.

Revealing Image Of Alexa Vega On Set Of ‘Machete Kills’
We all have to grow up some time and former Spy Kids star Alexa Vega has been doing a lot of growing up recently. She stars in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills as a femme fatale-like character named Killjoy – seems appropriate for this kind of movie. While she previously posted a picture of herself before shooting her scene, the photo below is the first official image of her on set.
Check it out the photo here below, and make sure your boss or significant other isn’t around (no, no there is no nudity).
Vega is now 24, and obviously she has really grown up to be a very sexy mature young woman. Hard to believe that she was that young child in those silly Spy Kid films. She revealed the new image of herself on her instagram account.

Wait, What? Robert Rodriguez Casts Lady Gaga In ‘Machete Kills’

OK, so it should come as no surprise that unexpected actors are being announced for the cast of the upcoming sequel, Machete Kills. Director Robert Rodriguez is known for putting together sometimes strange and always intriguing casts, and it always seems to work out quite well. The very same is expected here.
In the same way that he’s announced other casting news, such as Charlie Sheen playing the President of the United States, Rodriguez took to the Twitter to announce that pop music star Lady Gaga will also have a part in the sequel.
Gaga will play someone named La Chameleon, which is assumed to be a small role as the performer has apparently already filmed her scenes. Along with the announcement, Rodriguez also released a poster of Gaga in character. You can check that out below.

Robert Rodriguez Casts Charlie Sheen As U.S. President In ‘Machete Kills’

If the addition of a one Mel Gibson wasn’t intriguing enough for you, director Robert Rodriguez has announced that he has also cast tabloid magnet Charlie Sheen in his upcoming sequel, Machete Kills.
Rodriguez made the announcement via the Twitter, where he also revealed that Sheen would actually be playing the President of the United States of America (which feels strangely fitting, no?).

Now that his antics have appeared to have died down, Charlie Sheen has just gotten some damn good news.
The FX Network has announced that they have picked up the rights to the actor’s new TV sitcom, Anger Management.
The show will be loosely based on the 2003 flick of the same name, and finds the controversial former Two and a Half Men star heading back into the TV game, and this time, with a load of intrigue behind him.

CBS To Replace Charlie Sheen With Ashton Kutcher On ‘Two And A Half Men’

It’s seemed for a while now that CBS would be replacing Charlie Sheen on their hit sitcom Two and a Half Men instead of working things out with him or canceling the show all together.
For a while there was a “mystery man” they wanted to bring on to replace Sheen, and it was just revealed that this mystery actor was actually Hugh Grant, who ultimately decided to turn down the job. But it appears that the network had a back-up plan well in place already as it’s being reported that Sheen’s replacement has in fact been chosen.
Multiple sources close to the show are saying that CBS and That ’70s Show star Ashton Kutcher are putting the “final touches” on a deal that would see Kutcher taking over for Sheen, who famously went off the deep end before being fired by the network recently, and is currently capitalizing on that highly publicized meltdown with his own tour.
