David Fincher's Fight Club

A year ago CineFix offered up 7 Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know about director David Fincher‘s adaptation of the Chuck Palahniuk novel Fight Club, and the video was immensely popular.

Now the YouTube channel is back with a sequel edition, 7 MORE Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know About Fight Club, which includes everything from securing the rights to use the name Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter) to Brad Pitt and Edward Norton nakedness.

Seth Rogen and director Evan Goldberg 04

Back in September we found out about a new animated comedy from This Is The End writers and directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg titled Sausage Party.

But this animated comedy, as you likely suspected, is not one you’ll want your kids watching. The movie is a raunchy R-rated comedy that tells the story of a sausage who falls out of a shopping cart at a grocery store, and meets some new friends as they all embark on a dangerous journey trying to get back to their aisles in the store before the big 4th of July sale.

Now comes word of the movie’s voice cast, and, considering the movie comes from Rogen and Goldberg, most of the names should come as no great shock. The cast includes Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Edward Norton, Nick Kroll, and David Krumholtz.

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in Fight Club

Most of you have seen Fight Club by now, but if you haven’t and are not at all familiar with it, this post will be spoilery and you should stop reading now if you care about such things.

For everyone who has seen the movie, you know that the big reveal at the end is that Brad Pitt‘s Tyler Durden character is not real, but a second personality within Edward Norton‘s Narrator character.

Though we see Pitt through most of the movie, Richard Trammell decided he wanted to see what the movie might look like if Durden were removed from the film so that it appeared as if the Narrator was talking to no one. You can see what this version of the movie would have looked like in the video below.

SNL's Trailer For Wes Anderson Horror Movie The Midnight Coterie Of Sinister Intruders

You know director Wes Anderson for his quirky directing style and movies like The Royal Tenenbaums filled with awkward, anachronistic characters. But what if the American filmmaker were to make a horror movie? On last night’s Saturday Night Live, the sketch show gave us a tease of just what that would be like with a trailer for Wes Anderson’s The Midnight Coterie Of Sinister Intruders.

In the trailer, SNL host Edward Norton, who starred in Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom and will also appear in the director’s upcoming The Grand Budapest Hotel, plays Owen Wilson (a frequent Anderson collaborator) as a family man who’s home is invaded by 70’s suit-wearing masked killers carrying cleavers and an old record player. The spoof incorporates a lot from The Royal Tenenbaums, including a moody, smoking Gwyneth Paltrow.

Check out SNL’s trailer here below.
