| Will Joss Whedon Give Cable A Taste With A New Show On FX? |

One of the most fanboy-popular creators of television content working today is of course Joss Whedon. So far, the writer/producer/director has delivered to us shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse. Whedon is also one of the most unlucky creators of television content working today, with both Firefly and Dollhouse being canceled too quickly — Firefly not even getting the patience of one full season to gain an audience. So what exactly does a man of his status do next, and where should he go with his plans? According to Futon Critic, Whedon is actually about to meet with John Landgraf, President of FX, for a little lunch. What the two are meeting about and what could possibly be in the works is not known to anyone at all — it could be to talk about new series ideas; it could be to talk about puppies and interesting concoctions created using Heinz ketchup. All that is really known is that the two haven’t met before, so it is likely to be business-related.

| New ‘Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil’ Video Clips, Synopsis Released |

We the Geeks of Doom are all about the upcoming horror comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. As we’ve said before, the movie has Alan Tudyk, who was beloved as Wash on Joss Whedon’s Firefly and Serenity. It also has Tyler Labine, who was fantastic on TV’s Reaper and also had an amusing cameo in Kevin Smith’s Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Recently we shared with you a trailer for the movie that had found its way online (Read: See “˜Firefly’ Pilot Alan Tudyk And Tyler Labine In “˜Tucker & Dale vs. Evil’ Trailer), which is bloody and sorta NSFW, which means a hell of a lot of fun. Now, in anticipation for the flick’s debut next week at Sundance Film Festival, Collider has a trio of video clips from the movie. Head on over to the other side to read the synopsis and watch the clips, but I must stress: if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you should watch that first. The new clips play better after seeing teases of the scenes in the trailer.

| See ‘Firefly’ Pilot Alan Tudyk And Tyler Labine In ‘Tucker & Dale vs. Evil’ Trailer |

In early July ’09, the world was informed that Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine — stars of prematurely-canceled hits Firefly and Reaper — would be starring together in a horror comedy called Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Now the movie has a little visual accompaniment with the discovery of the film’s trailer. This particular trailer apparently was first making rounds back in October via Bloody-Disgusting, but that run eluded these very eyes, and so it is here now if you missed it as I did! The movie follows Tucker and Dale, two simpleton rednecks who are about to experience the “wrong place, wrong time” stigma to its most extreme level. When the duo discovers an abandoned cabin, they think it’s their luckiest of days, but when a string of mishaps leads a group of college kids to think that Tucker and Dale are vicious serial killers, the pair fall victim to the dreaded world of stereotypes and must find a way to set things right. This trailer looks like it might just be a leaked version or a very early online peek, and it also could be considered NSFW, so click on over at your own risk to see it while you still can!
