| ‘Y: The Last Man’: Yorick, 355, Hero, Beth, and More Cast For Upcoming TV Series |

It’s already been nearly three years since it was reported that an adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra‘s incredible comic book Y: The Last Man was now being developed as a TV series at FX instead of the long in-development movie, and nearly two years since we found out that Logan and Blade Runner 2049 writer and former American Gods showrunner Michael Green would be the showrunner. It’s since been announced that Aïda Mashaka Croal (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones) will also be sharing showrunner duties with Green. Now things are really starting to heat up as a cast for the series, which is simply titled Y, has been announced. Starring in the pilot episode will be Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, Brotherhood), Imogen Poots (Green Room, 28 Weeks Later), Diane Lane (Unfaithful, Man of Steel), Juliana Canfield (Succession, Plain Fiction), and Marin Ireland (Sneaky Pete, Hell or High Water). Air date: April 17, 2018 Spoilers below for Legion: Last week on FX’s Legion, David Haller (Dan Stevens) had two encounters he never expected to have. One was with the actual Shadow King, Farouk (Navid Negahban), and the other was with future Syd (Rachel Keller). The end result is that according to Syd he has to help Farouk find his body. This means finding the Monk who knows where the body is hidden. David is spending an awful lot of time inside Cary’s immersion tank bouncing back and forth through time and the Astral Plane. On this week’s Legion, the Monk finds himself inside Division 3 and poses a threat to everyone involved.

| Donald Glover Posts Animated ‘Deadpool’ “Finale” Script After Show’s Cancellation
Over the weekend, we learned that FX has decided to cancel their planned Deadpool animated series from Donald Glover. This came as a shock to many who had hoped to see more of the Merc with a Mouth, especially when it was coming from someone as creative as Glover, who would also be showrunner with his brother Stephen Glover. The series even got a 10 episode order, so there wasn’t anything to be worried about. While it is not exactly clear why the split happened, Glover wants to make sure that it wasn’t because he was too busy. In fact, he goes as far as mocking the whole situation by releasing pages of a fake “finale” script, which tells us that the series would have been hilarious. More on the story below.

| ‘Legion’: Official Trailer For Season 2 Of X-Men Spinoff Series Released
Following the recently released teaser trailer, an official trailer for season two of the X-Men spinoff series Legion has now been released. The FX and Marvel series follows David Haller (played by Dan Stevens), who once believed he was a schizophrenic but discovers he might actually be a powerful mutant.
