| ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’ Trailer: Get Ready For Another Hot Comedy With The Drac Pack
The first Hotel Transylvania film showed that the most frightening monsters in cinema and literature can be human. Raising a family isn’t easy, especially when there are rebellious teenagers driving you mad. Hotel Transylvania 2 is a continuation of the first film, and in the first trailer we get to see Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) acting like a momma bird by teaching his grandson how to fly by tossing him off a tower in hopes that instinct will kick in and he’ll transform into a bat despite being half human. Of course if you are a fan of the first film, you probably know how this will all end up. Watch the first trailer for Hotel Transylvania 2 after the jump.

Our favorite time-traveling Samurai is back in Samurai Jack #5 with the epic conclusion of the story arc, Threads of Time. Samurai Jack was a groundbreaking cartoon on the Cartoon Network and continues its story in the comic book pages. The cartoon style artwork transitions well to the medium, so the look and feel of the TV show is well maintained. But as to the story”¦..? [Spoiler Alert”¦] Our hero fails miserably. Every step on his journey leading up to this confrontation ends in a single frame. | Genndy Tartakovsky Helms New Adaptation Of ‘Popeye’
Sony Animation must like what they are seeing with Genndy Tartakovsky‘s Hotel Transylvania (watch the latest trailer here), because they will now reteam for an adaptation of the popular cartoon strip Popeye. According to Variety, the creator of classic Cartoon Network titles such as Dexter’s Labatory, Powerpuff Girls, and Samurai Jack, will make Popeye his second directorial effort. Variety says that this Popeye will be in 3D (of course it will be). | SDCC 2010: Sony Panel Shows Off ‘Priest,’ ‘The Other Guys’ & ‘Green Hornet’ |
 |

Sony was present at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con, and though they didn’t show off anything exciting from their reboot of Spider-Man, they did bring plenty of goodies to present for Priest, The Good Guys, and The Green Hornet.
They began with the new adaptation of Tokyo Pop graphic novel, Priest. The movie stars Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Stephen Moyer, Karl Urban, and Maggie Q, who were all in attendance. The movie tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world that’s been devastated by centuries of war between humans and vampires. A priest (Bettany), who fought in the last big war, comes out of hiding to track down some vampires who kidnapped his niece. The panel opened with a teaser trailer (which you can actually see below…though I’m not sure for how long). After that they go into some questions for the group. Basically just questions about what drew them to the film and and Bettany re-teaming with director Scott Stewart (Legion) and such. Be sure to click over and check out the teaser while it still works!
