Sony Pictures has released a new clip from the latest Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, this time around starring Tom Holland as the webslinger. Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Tyne Daly, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau also star in the movie.

The clip is titled “You’re the Spider-Man,” and features Holland quietly attempting to return to his room only to find an unexpected visitor. Click on over to the other side now for more on the movie and to check out the clip.

Now that Spider-Man has been officially welcomed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we can look forward to Spider-Man: Homecoming, his upcoming standalone film which is expected to hit theaters next year.

There wasn’t really any worry that the film would be an origins story considering that was already done in Captain America: Civil War, so what better way to introduce the new Webslinger to the superhero shared universe than to attach a subtitle that has a double meaning to it. Just a few weeks ago it looked like Sony and director Jon Watts were going to have to find a new actor to play the villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Academy Award winner Michael Keaton was the frontrunner for the role, as reports spread about his possible casting. However, the actor seemingly dropped out of the running.

However, it seems as though the thought of being in a Spider-Man movie that is now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe could not escape the actor, as he is now back in talks to star in the same role. For months it has been rumored, semi-confirmed, and joked about on the junket circuit and late night talk show circuit, but now it is official: Robert Downey Jr. has signed on to co-star in Spider-Man: Homecoming!

Naturally he’ll be returning to play Tony Stark in the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios production which Jon Watts (Cop Car) is directing from a screenplay by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein (Horrible Bosses), with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing alongside Amy Pascal. Tom Holland, the latest actor to play Spider-Man, will make his first appearance as the superhero in next month’s Captain America: Civil War. The events of that film are expected to pay off in Homecoming.

Sony Pictures has chosen their actor to become the next Spider-Man for their re-reboot of the franchise now that Marvel is involved creatively.

After many names had been mentioned as potential candidates for the role, it’s 19-year-old Tom Holland who has emerged as Sony’s pick for the gig. It was said that Ender’s Game and Hugo star Asa Butterfield was the frontrunner at one point, but that changed recently when it was reported that it was down to Holland, Charlie Plummer, and Matthew Lintz.

In addition to casting Holland, Sony has also chosen Jon Watts to direct the next Spider-Man movie.
