The views have been counted and the winner of the Batman v Superman Honest Trailers-off is… Superman… really? That means the gang at Screen Junkies were forced, by us, to give the HT treatment to Bryan Singer’s 2006’s homage/sequel/remake/reboot… “hobootquel” of Richard Donner’s 1978 classic, Superman Returns. This marks the 4th time the Screen Junkies team have dabbled in the Superman franchise, with Donner’s Quest for Peace and Man of Steel already having one.

I gotta admit, Jon Favreau’s live action Jungle Book movie looks pretty badass. With the film opening this week, the gang at Screen Junkies built on a growing tradition of giving the Honest Trailer treatment to a beloved Disney classic animated film. With Lion King, Aladdin, and one of their biggest hits, Frozen done, it’s time to cue up “Bare Necessities” and take aim at 1967’s The Jungle Book.

From Leonardo DiCaprio and NOT Martin Scorsese comes the movie that will go down in history as the movie that got Leo his Oscar, even if it’s mostly pure Oscar-bait. While the views get tallied from last week’s Batman V Superman Honest Trailer battle, the gang at Screen Junkies give the HT treatment to one of 2015’s best reviewed films, The Revenant.

For the first time in the YouTube channel’s history, they debut dueling Honest Trailers. It’s Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman versus Richard Donner’s 1978 Superman: The Movie. We are only 5 days away from the biggest night for Hollywood and movies, the 88th Academy Awards, and therefore the gang at Screen Junkies decided to dedicate their Tuesday Honest Trailer to the entire core of Best Picture nominees. As someone who sought out all 8 films, this was one I was particularly excited for. So get ready to celebrate the night rich people get dressed up to give each other trophies.
