Auditions are over on So You Think You Can Dance, and it’s time for Vegas! SYTYCD brings these excellent dancers to meet their mentors in Sin City. Can they master choreography? Team Street will meet their mentor, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and will learn choreograhy from masters Dave Scott, Tabatha and Napoleon, and award winning choreographer Jamal Sims. Team Stage led by Travis Wall will learn contemporary choreography from Wall, jazz from Sonya Tayeh, and Broadway with another award winner, Josh Bergasse.

Tonight, So You Think You Can Dance brought the auditions to NYC, with dancers vying for a Vegas spot on Travis Walls’ Team Stage or Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s Team Street. But first, they have to get past judges Nigel Lithgoe, Paula Abdul, and Jason Derulo.

So You Think You Can Dance is in Los Angeles last night for the third week of auditions. Dancers have to decide whether they are auditioning for Team Stage, headed by Travis Walls, or Team Street, captained by tWitch.

SYTYCD is in Detroit tonight, where they got season 10 champ Amy Yakima. The performers are trying out for Team Stage (trained dancers) or Team Street (perfected their craft on the streets), headed by All-stars Travis Wall and Stephen “tWitch” Boss, respectively. Judges Nigel Lithgoe, Paula Abdul, and Jason Derulo got wowed and “not” wowed by the dancers of Motor City. My favorite reality competition of all time, So You Think You Can Dance, SYTYCD for short, returned for season 12 tonight, with new judges and a new format. The first episode takes us through the auditions in Memphis and Dallas. Contestants were fighting for their ticket to Vegas on Travis Wall‘s Team Stage, or Stephen “tWitch” Boss‘s Team Street.
