A new international trailer for Rian Johnson‘s Looper has appeared online and it takes what we know about time travel and builds upon it with a very expansive story. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a hit-man hired to kill targets sent from the future to his own timeline. He takes the job in stride and gets paid very well. But all that comes apart when his future self is a target whom he fails to kill, forcing him to go on the run to kill his target and stay out of his employers’ sights. Check out the trailer below.

The first trailer for Brick writer-director Rian Johnson‘s forthcoming sci-fi action thriller Looper, which has been teased relentlessly all week, has been released today by Columbia Pictures and Film District. They send hired killers, called “loopers,” thirty years into the past with their quarry. Looper, the sci-fi thriller from Brick/The Brothers Bloom writer-director Rian Johnson, has been in the works for several years now and an early cut was screened for critics last year to mostly positive notices, but only recently has Columbia Pictures kicked their promotional efforts into gear on behalf of the movie. | HBO Sets Premiere Dates For ‘True Blood’ Season 5, ‘The Newsroom’
HBO has officially announced start dates for season five of True Blood, as well as a new series titled The Newsroom. The fifth season of the ultra-popular vampire horror-fantasy series will debut on Sunday, June 10 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The show, set mainly in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, follows a waitress named Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) with peculiar abilities whose seemingly normal life is abruptly overtaken by vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, witches, and other fantastical beings…not to mention all of the dangers that come with them.
