| Spider-Man Grabs Himself A Coffee, Surprises Customers (Video)
We’re just a little over a week from the launch of the first movie in Sony Pictures’ latest reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, Spider-Man: Homecoming, this time with a little help from Marvel. To help promote the movie a fun little prank was set up, as is quite the popular viral marketing technique these days. For this one, customers at a Starbucks in New York City are first confused when the barista calls out Spider-Man’s name for an order, and then surprised when Spidey himself drops down from the ceiling to pick it up. There’s even a cameo from a familiar face. Check out the video below.

| Kevin Feige On DC Rivalry, R-Rated Marvel Movies, Venom Spinoff |
 |

For the past 10 years or so, Marvel Studios has been king of the superhero movie genre. So not only has other competing studios caught on to their success, but they have been trying to mimic it. Though there have been attempts to make their own shared universe work, some studios realized that it takes a little more effort to build one as massive as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But Marvel doesn’t really get all the credit. Despite their mounting success, they have yet to release a female-led superhero film. Something that Warner Brothers’ Wonder Woman not only has accomplished but shattered the glass ceiling. Others had to make deals. Like Sony finally sharing Spider-Man. And Marvel finds themselves on the other side looking in as Fox has proven that R-rated superhero films could work. Kevin Feige talked about all these things during a Facebook-live event, and you can find out more about what he had to say about it below.

| The Future Of Marvel Studios: Spider-Man, R-Rated Movies, James Gunn, and More |
 |

Though we have an idea for the remainder of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we don’t know much about Phase Four. Besides the fact that the first film to christen the new Phase after Avengers 4 will be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, we can only guess that there will be a nice mix of new heroes and sequels. Then, of course, there is figuring out who should be the new Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, etc. But the future extends further than just beyond the films themselves. There’s also the deal sharing Spider-Man with Sony Pictures, working with directors like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘s James Gunn, and whether or not they’ll be doing an R-rated movie anytime soon. The studio recently gave a rare opportunity to THR to go inside the fortress known as Walt Disney Studios. There they spoke with Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige, and discovered what the future holds for Marvel and how they keep their success rate so high. Find out more about this below.

| Marvel Taking Doctor Strange’s Future One Step At A Time
In the comics, Marvel’s Illuminati made their debut in The New Avengers Vol.1 #7 in 2005. Formed after the events of the Kree-Skrull war, the United Nation of superheroes consisted of Sorcerer Supreme himself Doctor Strange; Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans; Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men and mutant-rights activist; Reed Richards, founding member of the Fantastic Four; Namor the Sub-Mariner, King of Atlantis; and Iron Man (Anthony Stark), founding member of the Avengers. With Doctor Strange hitting theaters in just a few weeks, fans will be interested in seeing if the group will form in the MCU. But as exciting as that sounds, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says we shouldn’t get our hopes up and that they’re taking things one step at a time. Check out what he had to say below.
