| ‘Lost’ Event Coming To A Theater Near You? Series Finale Has A Title |
 |

An interesting new event has been discovered, and Lost fans will be excited to learn more about it. A movie theater in Michigan called Celebration Cinemas has posted information on something being called Behind the Scenes of Lost. As it turns out, this is being put on by The New York Times’ TimesTalks, and will take place at TheTimesCenter in New York City on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 8:00PM. On this evening, Lost‘s two most recognized writers and producers, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, will be talking with the Times’ Lorne Manly and sharing their stories about the show, and how difficult it was to achieve their greatest challenge: a perfect series finale that leaves their army of fans satisfied. Throughout the night, clips will be shows, including a one-minute sneak peak at the final episode that will air three days later. And at the end, a live Q&A will take place allowing fans in the audience and via text message to ask questions.

| Geek Discussion: Richard Alpert’s ‘Lost’ Story Plays Out In ‘Ab Aeterno’ |

Tonight was episode 9 of the final season of Lost, and it was indeed a special occasion. The episode was dedicated to the man, the myth, the ageless legend himself: Richard Alpert. Since first meeting Richard (Nestor Carbonell), we’ve always wondered about who he was, and when we discovered that the very same man was the very same age in many different points in time, his intrigue far surpassed all other characters on Lost. We aren’t a website that typically covers every single episode of the popular shows out there. Usually we just stick to the premiers and finales for seasonal discussion purposes, but this episode is far too good to pass up. It must be discussed, and your thoughts shared! Obviously there will be spoilers going on here, so don’t click over if you’re not caught up yet. And once again, if you’re not caught up, what the hell are you thinking!? It’s okay — we still love you. Just, ya know…get on that.

| It Has Begun! ‘LOST’ The Final Season Premiere Discussion
Last night was the very first episode in the final season of our beloved LOST. As excited as we were for the show to be back, it was also somewhat depressing because all know that this beginning means the end is now near. It’s hard to think another show will ever come near what LOST is doing, so in a way, we could be witnessing the death of truly great TV. Thankfully, this is still just the first episode and we have a good chunk left before the sadness really sets in. So before we reach that ultimate sadness we faced with Battlestar Galactica once again, shall we have ourselves a chit-chat about went down last night? As we stated in our LOST Season 5 finale discussion, there will be some spoiler action going on here, so if you’re not yet caught up — even by one episode — do not read on. For the rest of you, click over for more and to share your theories on what road this final season is heading down!

| Geek Gear: What Would John Locke Do? ‘LOST’ T-Shirt |
 |

The folks over at TeeFury have an interesting way of doing things. For those of you who are not aware of them, they have one unique t-shirt each and every day. This shirt goes up for sale at midnight on the button for the universal price of $9, and at midnight 24-hours later (or when it is sold out), it disappears into a vortex and is never ever seen again…EVER. Today’s design comes from the world of ABC’s LOST, which is set to begin their sixth and final season this Tuesday night. The shirt takes one of TV’s more popular (and mysterious) characters, John Locke (Terry O’Quinn), and begs the question “What Would John Locke Do?” and leaves us to ponder quietly. Keep in mind that this one day is the only chance you’ll ever have to acquire this shirt and show it off to jealous friends. This is a depressing thing for some people; there is no doubt that many with empty pockets have ventured to the site and saw something magical like this that slips their grasp and becomes a dream. But for those of you who have pocket financing or maybe an unexplored couch, this is one of those shirts that needs to be owned! I know I will be.

| What Would The Oceanic 815 Crash From ‘Lost’ Look Like On ’24’? |
 |

If you’re a fan of ABC’s Lost, then you know that the show likes to jump from one point to the next to the next, then back to a previous point to make sense of the first point, and then maybe to another decade and beyond. That’s just how they do things, and to many (including myself), it’s one of the greatest TV shows ever created. When the show’s sixth and final season begins on Tuesday, February 2, we can expect a whole lot of the same jumping around. All we can hope for is that when it’s all said and done, we have some solid beginning, middle, end, and some answers to the bigger questions. But think for just a moment about if they did the show a little differently…like maybe in the style of another popular TV show like 24. What would Lost look like in real time? Well, allow us to show you! SciFi Wire caught wind of a little video from YouTube user pyram1dhead in which multiple scenes from the duration of the show so far are removed and re-edited into a 10+ minute real time look at Oceanic 815’s fateful crash on the mysterious island. You’ll see the few minutes building up to it, what they were doing on the plane, what the Others were up to, and also the tense moments that Desmond was involved in. The video is very cool to watch if you’re a fan and if you’re all caught up. If you’ve not seen Lost, I wouldn’t recommend watching this. It would probably take some of the fun out of the show, which you should start watching immediately. Click on over to check it out!
