Earlier today, EW released the first set of images of Benedict Cumberbatch in full costume as the titular Doctor Strange in Marvel’s upcoming film. Now the magazine has released six more images in conjunction with their latest cover story on Doctor Strange. Along with these new images are a couple of quotes about what we will see, Cumberbatch’s thoughts on the role, director Scott Derrickson‘s thoughts on taking on Marvel’s most ambitious movie, and much more. But in the ashes of that fire, there’s still a spark. You can hear it clicking throughout the episode’s score, like the burner on a stove waiting to be ignited. The real fire hasn’t been snuffed out. Rather, it was just twitching and clicking, waiting to be sparked.

| Mads Mikkelsen In Talks For Villain Role In ‘Doctor Strange’
For the past three seasons, Mads Mikkelsen has brilliantly played the title character in the NBC drama Hannibal. Fans have been doing all they can to save the series from coming to an end since the network announced that this would be its last season. While creator Bryan Fuller mulls over the future of the series, many of its stars have gone on to do other things. Namely Mikkelsen, who was recently confirmed to play a mysterious role in A Star Wars Story: Rogue One. Production is taking place as we speak, but as soon as principal photography is complete for Rogue One, Mikkelsen will head right into another film. Reports are coming in that the actor is in talks to join Benedict Cumberbatch in the Scott Derrickson-directed Doctor Strange, as a villain. But which one? More on the story below.
