The DC Cinematic Universe is starting to grow. With Man of Steel planting the seeds, we will see how much their cinematic world will grow with the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. We got a slight hint at the dark tones the film will have through SDCC posters and teaser reveals – the latter of which WB will likely never show again. And we still haven’t seen Jason Momoa as Aquaman, or Ray Fisher as Cybrog. Or, more importantly, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

If you’ve seen some of the leaked set photos, then you know the level of destruction that will be seen in the film is off the scale. But how did it get to that point? Well, according to a new rumor, it might have something to do with Lex Luthor.

May 6, 2016, a day that was to pit Captain America 3 against Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. With Marvel’s proven track record, the outcome of this seemed all too obvious, but there is a chance that moviegoers wanted to see what WB had in store for the DC Comics Universe. But Warner Bros has decided that keeping the May 6, 2016 date was too risky, and now has pushed back the release date to March 25, 2016 – which is well outside the Summer movie season.

With Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel follow-up Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice already in production, Warner Brothers Studios is slowly rolling out the marketing campaign for the highly anticipated sequel. First it was a pair of Batman and Batmobile photos, which were followed by an image of Henry Cavill as Clark Kent. Now a new photo of Cavill in his Superman gear has been released, and depending on how you look at it, it could tell us where the film is set.

Not only that, but the new image release comes with some very interesting details about the film from Snyder himself. Hit the jump to see what he had to say.

Warner Brothers Studios has announced that the Man of Steel sequel, known up until now as Batman vs. Superman, will officially be Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. It’s funny how this title is not only a play on the former tentative title, but the official subtitle is also a play on the Justice League film itself – if it’s even called that anymore.

In addition to the title announcement, an official logo for the movie has also been released. You can see that, plus reaction to the title, below.

Outside of a ceaseless parade of casting news there has been little revealed regarding Warner Bros.’ Man of Steel sequel/2016 superhero team-up epic which may or may not be called Batman Vs. Superman (which I will refer to it as for the sake of this article), until now.

Yesterday director Zack Snyder teased the reveal and today he’s not only given us our first good glimpse at the new Batmobile, but he also threw in our first look at star Ben Affleck in full Batman costume, via his Twitter feed.
