| ‘Sing’ Trailer: Matthew McConaughey As A Koala Searching For The Next Best Singing Animal
Singing competitions are where amateurs and aspiring singers go in hopes of achieving their dreams. Many of us have seen how it all plays out on shows like The Voice or American Idol. But what about the animals? They can sing too, right? Well in a new trailer released by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment, Sing answers that question using more than 85 hit songs and an all-star voice cast. The animated film will see animals of all species auditioning in a singing competition, in hopes of winning a once in a lifetime record deal. Check out the trailer below.

| Must Watch: Trailer For Stop-Motion Movie ‘Kubo and The Two Strings’
We’ve seen a few really gorgeous stop-motion films come out of LAIKA Entertainment, including Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls. With their latest effort, Kubo and the Two Strings, they most certainly appear to be continuing that trend after watching the new trailer for the movie, which mixes both awesome visuals and an epic instrumental cover of The Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” The movie stars Game of Thrones actor Art Parkinson (who plays Rickon on the HBO series—which is pretty cool as his TV big brother, Bran actor Isaac Hempstead Wright, starred in LAIKA’s The Boxtrolls) in the role of Kubo. Joining him on the cast is Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey, Ralph Fiennes, Rooney Mara, George Takei, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Brenda Vaccaro. | Idris Elba In Talks To Star In ‘The Dark Tower’ Movie
It’s being reported that Idris Elba, the star of Luther, Pacific Rim, Marvel’s Thor movies, Cary Fukunaga’s Netflix original Beasts of No Nation, the upcoming Star Trek Beyond, Finding Dory, and The Jungle Book, and much more, is now in early talks to lead the cast of The Dark Tower, the movie adaptation of the Stephen King horror fantasy book series of the same name, as the Gunslinger himself, Roland Deschain. If Elba is officially signed on, the showdown between the Gunslinger and the Man in Black could be Elba versus Matthew McConaughey, who was reported to be in early talks for the role of the villain last month.

| Matthew McConaughey In Talks For ‘The Dark Tower’ Movie
It’s been a while since we’ve heard about an actor being up for a role in The Dark Tower, the long in development adaptation of author Stephen King‘s popular book series. Previous names attached to the adaptation have included Russell Crowe and Javier Bardem. Both of those actors previously won an Academy Award, Crowe for 2000’s Gladiator and Bardem for 2007’s No Country for Old Men. Now comes word of a new actor who might star in the adaptation, and he’s also got an Oscar. It’s being reported that Matthew McConaughey, who recently won the Best Actor award for his work in Dallas Buyers Club, has entered into early talks for a role in The Dark Tower. But unlike Crowe and Bardem, who were up for the lead role of Roland Deschain, McConaughey is looking to play the film’s villain, a certain man in black.
