| ‘Oldboy’ Actress Joins ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’; Matthew McConaughey Turns Down Villain Role
With sequels comes new additions. It just comes with the territory. While the Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel are locked in to reprise their “a-hole” roles, with Karen Gillan back as nefarious daughter of the Mad Titan otherwise known as Thanos, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is starting to cast new faces for the upcoming space opera sequel. A new report says that Pom Klementieff (Oldboy) has signed off to appear in the film, while Matthew McConaughey has turned down the chance to appear in the sequel, leaving director James Gunn to look elsewhere. | Matthew McConaughey’s ‘Dazed and Confused’ Audition (Video)
Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey got his big break in Richard Linklater’s 1993 coming of age film Dazed and Confused. The 2011 Criterion Collection Blu-ray Edition contained the actor’s early 90’s Dazed and Confused audition reel. Now, the Criterion Collection has just posted the audition online, so you can check out the 90-second video right here below! At the audition, the shaggy blond-haired McConaughey, who was an early 20s college student at the time, sported a black MTV Headbanger’s Ball t-shirt and ran his lines with eventual co-star Wiley Wiggins.

| Golden Globes 2015: Watch Tina Fey & Amy Poehler’s Monologue
Tonight marked Tina Fey and Amy Poehler‘s return to NBC for their third and final time hosting the Golden Globe Awards ceremony. Leading up to the event, the former SNL cast mates said they wouldn’t be holding back on the jokes this year and that everyone was a potential target. As expected Bill Cosby, who’s been in the news a lot lately for allegations of rape, was on the chopping block as both comediennes did spot-on impressions of the comedian and JELL-O pudding pusher. Other celebrities highlighted in the opening were actor George Clooney and his activist lawyer wife Amal Alamuddin Clooney, as well as Wes Anderson, Emma Stone, Matthew McConaughey, and as usual, fellow SNL alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
