| ‘Everybody Wants Some’ Trailer: The ‘Dazed and Confused’ Spiritual Sequel
Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for Everybody Wants Some. The movie comes from five-time Academy Award nominee (three of which coming from his previous film, Boyhood) Richard Linklater, who writes and directs. Everybody Wants Some is set in the ’80s and is considered a spiritual sequel to Linklater’s 1993 cult classic Dazed and Confused, which took place in the ’70s. You can check out the trailer below.

| Future Of The ‘Terminator’ Franchise In Question
Terminator Genisys was supposed to be the film to help revive the franchise into the mega-blockbuster one that it was known for. But nearly three weeks after its release, the film continues to struggle at the domestic box office, and is only faring well overseas. The fifth installment in the franchise has grossed $278 million at the box office. But when taking into account the $155 million production budget, and the promotional budget, it would seem that Terminator Genisys is just another disaster for the franchise and the studio. Paramount has scheduled two Terminator sequels to be released in 2017 and 2018, but there is a new report saying that the future of the franchise is uncertain. More on the story below.

| Annapurna Pictures Exits Out Of ‘Terminator: Genesis’
This was always an odd pairing. When the Terminator property was up for grabs, a variety of studios were vying to purchase the name of the very lucrative franchise, namely Annapurna Pictures and Lionsgate. Megan Ellison and her Annapurna Pictures ended up beating Lionsgate for the project and soon developed a partnership with Paramount, who would help finance the project with Annapurna. They even got some of the roles cast for Terminator: Genesis. Game Of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke got the role of Sarah Connor, while Zero Dark Thirty‘s Jason Clarke is in talks to play John Connor. | New R-Rated Animated Comedy ‘Sausage Party’ From Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg On The Way
A raunchy new R-rated animated comedy is on the way from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the duo who have worked together on numerous projects, including Superbad and Pineapple Express, which they wrote together, and This Is The End, which they wrote and directed together. The new movie is titled Sausage Party, and will follow a sausage who falls out of a shopping cart at the grocery store and must set off on a journey with some new friends to get back to their places in the store before a 4th of July sale starts, all while also determined to discover the truth of his existence.
