Gotham returns next Monday, April 13th, and oh how we’ve missed it. To get ready for its highly anticipated return, FOX has released a plethora of videos including two trailers for the upcoming Episode 1.19 “Beasts of Prey,” and an inside look into Gotham’s oldest/newest villain, the Ogre (Milo Ventimiglia), a serial killer that toys with beautiful young women before he kills them. | Ryan Reynold’s April Fool’s Prank Confirms ‘Deadpool’ Will Be Rated R (Video)
Today is a day filled around the web with all kinds of April Fool’s Day articles, and it is also the perfect time for FOX to address Deadpool‘s rating controversy. There was some worry that the character, who has been known to shoot his mouth off with all sorts of vulgar statements, might have to be toned down for a more family-friendly PG-13 rating. This wouldn’t sit well with fans, as not even Deadpool himself would settle for something as mundane as a PG-13 rating. | ‘Spy’ Trailer: Melissa McCarthy Becomes A Spy
Melissa McCarthy is incredibly funny, and she is the crown jewel of every Paul Feig film she stars in. Following the success of Bridesmaids and Heat comes Spy, an action-comedy spy film that sees the comedian go from CIA desk analyst to a full-fledged highly untrained spy. We have already seen one trailer for the film, and now Fox has released the second one. McCarthy play the unknown spy who will be trained by Jude Law, a clean cut suave spy; and Jason Statham, a dark and brooding spy who does whatever it takes to get the job done. | Ryan Reynolds ‘Deadpool’ Costume Revealed In Classic Deadpool Fashion
When we get to see a superhero suit for the first time, normally studios send a standard photo of the title hero in a heroic pose. So after years of waiting, we are finally getting a proper Deadpool film – especially after the character was completely wasted in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but there’s no heroic pose in sight this time. The first image of the Merc with a Mouth has appeared online and it’s set up is classic Deadpool style. Production has already begun on the film, with Fox scheduling Deadpool for a February 2016 release. And Ryan Reynolds, who will reprise his character, has been generous to share the experience with his followers on social media. | ‘Firefly’ Star Morena Baccarin Joins ‘Deadpool’ As Female Lead
The upcoming Deadpool movie has found its female lead. It’s being reported that Morena Baccarin has been cast, joining star Ryan Reynolds, who was confirmed to be returning in December. Details on who Baccarin will play are scarce, but she’s described as the love interest of Deadpool, also known as Wade Wilson or the “Merc with a Mouth,” and someone who finds herself struggling with the fact that she’s falling for someone who has a terribly disfigured face.
