| ‘Ted 2’ Trailer: Time To Legalize Ted!
Universal Pictures has released the first trailer and images for Ted 2, Seth MacFarlane‘s sequel to his 2012 live-action directorial debut, Ted. The trailer for Ted 2 here below, along with new images from the R-rated comedy. Ted 2 sees Mark Wahlberg reprising his role as John Bennett, a man who’s childhood teddy bear comes to life as a foulmouthed sidekick and wreaks havoc on his life. In the new film, Ted (voiced by MacFarlane) and Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth) are happily married and ready to start a family, but when they try to have a baby, Ted finds out he must first prove in a court of law that he’s an actual person. Amanda Seyfried stars ss Ted’s lawyer, with Morgan Freeman playing an iconic civil rights lawyer, and Liam Neeson appearing in an unspecified role.

| Gal Gadot, Pedro Pascal In Talks For ‘Ben-Hur’
A pair of actors have entered into negotiations to join Ben-Hur, the latest adaptation of Lew Wallace’s 1880 novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ. The book was of course previously turned into the 1959 classic starring Charlton Heston that went on to win 11 Academy Awards. It’s being reported that Gal Gadot, who’s best known (though only seen in a single image so far) as the new Wonder Woman for upcoming DC Comics movies beginning with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Pedro Pascal, who won many fans as Prince Oberyn Martell, the Red Viper of Dorne, on the most recent season of Game of Thrones, are both in talks for the movie. Gadot would play the female lead, Esther, a slave Ben-Hur is in love with. Pascal is up for the role of Pontius Pilate.

| Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted 2’ Adds Liam Neeson To Cast
Another big name actor has joined the cast of Ted 2. It’s being reported that Taken and The Grey star Liam Neeson has signed on to Seth MacFarlane‘s sequel, a follow-up to his 2012 live-action directorial debut. Neeson joins Morgan Freeman, who was cast in the movie earlier this month, as well as fellow newcomer Amanda Seyfried and the first movie’s returning cast such as MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, and Mila Kunis.

| ‘Boardwalk Empire’ Star Jack Huston To Play Ben-Hur
MGM and Paramount Pictures have chosen their star for Ben-Hur, the upcoming remake of the 1959 classic of the same name that starred Charlton Heston and was directed by William Wyler and went on to win 11 Academy Awards, including awards for both Heston and Wyler. Jack Huston, the actor perhaps best known for his work playing Richard Harrow on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire, will take on the iconic role. He joins Morgan Freeman, who’s set to play Ildarin.
