A sequel to A Quiet Place was given the greenlight almost the instant the first film came out in theaters. Paramount CEO Jim Gianopulos said about the announcement, “We’re thrilled to say that we’re already working on the sequel to A Quiet Place.”

While the sequel was confirmed, it wasn’t clear if original director and co-writer John Krasinski would return. But, it looks like he will be back in some capacity. He will write the script. More on the report below.

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Pet Sematary, a new take on the Stephen King book of the same name which was adapted into a 1989 movie.

Just like last year’s IT, which currently has a sequel on the way, the movie is another new adaptation of one of King’s tales of terror. Starring in the movie is Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, John Lithgow, Jeté Laurence, and Hugo Lavoie.

Paramount released another trailer for Overlord, the supernatural Nazi zombie thriller directed by Julius Avery. Set during World War II, American paratroopers go on a mission to infiltrate a Nazi base. Little do they know that the serum that Nazi scientists are creating could turn any mortal into a mindless zombie. And in this trailer, we get to see plenty of Nazi zombies. Biopics can cover a wide range of the subject ranging from a specific time that defined them to their entire life. In Rocketman, Taron Egerton will portray Elton John in a musical fantasy that is “based on a true fantasy.” Of course, there will be musical numbers in it, but based on the trailer there will be so much more to it.

We’ve all seen Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne in comedies before. Both are clearly up to the task of making audiences laugh. And now we will get to see the two work together in Sean Anders‘ film Instant Family, which is based on a true story.

Paramount has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming film which sees the two play a married couple who suddenly adopt three children and learn that parenting may be difficult, but there are great rewards that come with it. Check out the trailer and a featurette below.
