| ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Director Says ‘Planes, Trains, and Automobiles’ Inspired The Film
A lot has gone on since we last saw Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Towards the end of Doctor Strange, it was revealed that he was seeking help from the Sorcerer Supreme to find his father. How all of this happened is unclear, but we do know Loki had something to do with it. And now more is being revealed about the film’s plot, plus some of the other films that have inspired Thor: Ragnarok, including Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. More below.

| Geek Peek: First ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Images Reveal A Bright Colorful World Outside The MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has proven to be quite expansive as it has taken audiences to unheard of realms and unseen galaxies. That has always been what makes the MCU so much fun. Each and very film fits into its own genre while also being a part of a larger superhero universe. So we will get another taste of that in Thor: Ragnarok. A new set of images for the upcoming film has been released giving us our first look at what is to come with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) now having to fight in the gladiator arena while Hela (Cate Blanchett) devises a nefarious plan that could kill all life. We are also getting our first look at Tessa Thompson‘s Valkyrie as well as Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster. Check out the image gallery here below.

| Marvel’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Synopsis & New Set ImageThere is a lot of movies to look forward to in 2017. A solo Star Wars is on the way, Spider-Man is coming home, and we’re getting another Thor sequel! Coming in November, Thor: Ragnarok is the third movie featuring Marvel’s Thor, played again by Chris Hemsworth, with several other stars reprising their MCU roles, along with new additions to the cast. The biggest addition this go around is actually the answer to a big question from 2014’s Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron… “Where did the Hulk go?” We now have the official synopsis for Thor: Ragnarok, which answers just that. | Countdown To Ragnarok 2014, The Viking ApocalypseWe’re just mere hours away from the start of Ragnarok, the Viking Apocalypse, a series of events, natural disasters, and battles that lead to the end of the world. The wolf Fenrir, Loki’s son, will also break out of his prison and there will be an epic battle fought by Norse gods like Odin, Thor, Loki, Týr, Freyr, and Heimdallr. The Earth will split open and the beings of the underworld will be unleashed. In Norse mythology, most of the major gods die in the final battle, and those who do survive will see the world begin anew and become repopulated. In honor of this impending cataclysm, thousands of Viking warriors and spectators are descending upon the city of York in the United Kingdom for the Jorvik Viking Festival.
