| ‘Justice League’: Ben Affleck Steps Into Executive Producer Role
In addition to his central role as Batman, Ben Affleck is fast becoming one of the critical creative forces behind the camera in the DC Cinematic Universe. He reportedly performed on-set rewrites of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice script and will also be writing the future solo Batman movie (rumored to be titled The Batman) as well as directing the project. Recently, the multi-talented Affleck earned himself another hat to wear as he has taken on the role of executive producer on next year’s Justice League Part I, in which he is also obviously returning as Batman.

| New Image Of Superman In ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’; Zack Synder Talks Plot and Title
With Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel follow-up Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice already in production, Warner Brothers Studios is slowly rolling out the marketing campaign for the highly anticipated sequel. First it was a pair of Batman and Batmobile photos, which were followed by an image of Henry Cavill as Clark Kent. Now a new photo of Cavill in his Superman gear has been released, and depending on how you look at it, it could tell us where the film is set. | Jason Momoa Will Be Aquaman In ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice’
Mere days after Warner Bros.’ long-term plans for bringing the DC Universe to the big screen leaked out, a rumor surrounding the casting of their next major cinematic production is starting to take on the shape of nothing but the truth. If the rough release schedule hashed out by DC Comics and Warner Bros. that we first glimpsed this week is accurate, then that means that the upcoming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice will not be a direct sequel to last year’s Man of Steel, but a proper launching pad for the inevitable Justice League film being targeted for release the next year. Both features will be directed by Zack Snyder.

| Zack Snyder Will Direct ‘Justice League’ After ‘Batman Vs. Superman’
The Man Of Steel sequel tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman isn’t due out in theaters for another two years, and will open up against Captain America 3. But Warner Bros remains undeterred by the huge success that Marvel is currently experiencing, as they have announced the next phase of their DC Comics Cinematic Universe by naming Zack Snyder as the director of Justice League. Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said that the studio has set plans to make a Justice League movie, and confirmed the news to The Wall Street Journal. Ray Fisher, who was recently cast as Victor Stone/Cyborg, joins Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, who play Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, respectively, in Batman Vs. Superman, with production set to begin next month.
