| Watch Now: First Trailer For Andrew Dominik’s ‘Killing Them Softly’ Starring Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt is a man going around taking names, and he decides who to free and who to blame. The first trailer for Andrew Dominik‘s Killing Them Softly, which makes excellent use of Johnny Cash’s “When A Man Comes Around,” has been released. The crime flick follows Pitt and James Gandolfini as professional hit men trying to recover money that was lost in a raid made by two low-life crooks. Check it out below. The film marks Dominik’s return as a director after an eight-year absence, so there really isn’t much to say after watching the trailer, because it speaks for itself. Killing Them Softly made its official debut over at Cannes where critics praised it. It certainly has earned my attention.

| ‘Jack Reacher’ Trailer: Tom Cruise Goes Out For A Rage-Fueled Drive
The first trailer for Christopher McQuarrie‘s Jack Reacher has debuted online. In the film Tom Cruise seems to be taking on the same persona that Ryan Gosling played in Drive. Whether or not you like Cruise as the titular character, I am sure the brutality in his violence should be enough to convince you that Jack Reacher is at least worth a look. Check out the trailer below.

| Paramount Changes Title Of Tom Cruise Actioner ‘One Shot’ To ‘Jack Reacher’
Ads and banners tend to fly and flap in the winds or cover various walls during all kinds of film festivals. Some confirm that a movie is inevitably coming and others confirm that a title has change. The Cabin in the Woods

Starring Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, and Amy Acker
Lionsgate
Release Date: April 13, 2012
Stop me if you’ve heard this one: a group of college kids visit a remote cabin in the woods to partake in irresponsible activities such as (but not limited to) alcohol, illicit drugs, and premarital sex. One by one, these nubile teenagers are hacked to pieces by an axe-wielding maniac in the woods (or God-forsaken summer camp). Sound familiar? It should. You’ve seen this genre convention in horror films like The Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, Cabin Fever, Sleepaway Camp, The Burning, and Tucker & Dale Vs Evil. The Old Dark House has become The Cabin in the Woods, a subversive, spirited deconstruction of the genre. Even the film’s title is a reference to the archetypes it celebrates and simultaneously dissects.

| Must Watch: Trailer For Joss Whedon’s ‘The Cabin In The Woods’ Finally Released
Though the movie was finished filming in 2009 and originally slated for release in 2010, The Cabin in the Woods is just now giving us a first official trailer. The movie, which is written and produced by Joss Whedon and written and directed by Drew Goddard, fell victim to MGM’s major financial woes, and like many others it found itself stashed away in the attic, left to gather dust. But thankfully for all of us, Lionsgate eventually showed up to save the day and set a new release date of April 13, 2012. You can check out the first trailer for The Cabin in the Woods by continuing on below.
