| NYCC 2019: Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ Panel Teases Crossover On ‘Cloak + Dagger’
Marvel Television shared some teasers and surprises with fans at Hulu’s Runaways panel at New York Comic-Con on Friday. In addition to showing an exclusive screening of the third season premiere over two months in advance of its release, Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb shared the extent of the Cloak & Dagger crossover event as well as some tidbits from the upcoming season. Fans watched as the cast and crew graced the stage for a panel discussion held in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Alongside Loeb were series stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, and executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of The OC fame. | Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ Trailer: Teenage Superheroes Whose Parents Are Up To No Good
“They’re teenagers. The last thing they’re interested in is what their parents are doing.” But what do you expect superpowered teenagers to do when their parents are up to no good? Best thing is to probably run away. And that’s what these kids will do in Marvel’s newest show Runaways. This latest series, which will air exclusively on Hulu, will see six teenagers with different powers, uniting to defeat a common foe: their parents. | New ‘Runaways’ Photos Takes A Look At Marvel’s Youngest Heroes
Marvel may rule the superhero movie world with their Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they have also extended that success to television. And with shows on ABC, Netflix, and Freeform, the world of Marvel is about to get bigger with Runaways on Hulu. The show, which is set to debut in November, has a lot of excitement surrounding it, and to help get more people enthusiastic about it, a handful of photos have been released, plus a few new details on the characters that make up the Runaways. The title show follows six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other, but who must unite against a common foe: their parents. And to help get us acquainted with the show are two new photos. | First Look At Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ and ‘The Inhumans’ TV Shows
Marvel has no shortage of properties they can use to adapt for the big or small screen. Considering how popular television has become, it’s no surprise that the studio would want to have a piece of that market. Now we are getting our first look at two of their newest shows. The Inhumans, which was once a film that has now become a TV series, though that doesn’t mean it won’t be getting the film treatment as its pilot will debut in IMAX theaters. Runaways is the second show. While it won’t have anything as grand as The Inhumans, the show has already been picked up by Hulu, so that’s a very good sign. | Full Cast For Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ TV Series Set
Last August we found out that Hulu had ordered a pilot episode for a potential series based on Marvel’s Runaways from Y: The Last Man and Saga creator Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona. The comic follows a group of kids who—during their parents’ yearly “charity” gathering—discover that their parents are actually members of an evil organization known as “The Pride.” Now the full cast has been put together, rounded out by the recent announcement of who will be playing the parents on the show.
