| Darren Aronofsky Wants Russell Crowe, Liam Neeson For Noah’s Ark Movie
A movie about the story of Noah and his ark from Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky has been floating around out there for a while now, but it’s been taking its time getting moving forward. Nothing is official as of yet, but Aronofsky has shared who he would like to cast in his movie, which is simply titled Noah. According to sources, the director wants to bring in none other than Russell Crowe to play Noah in the biblical epic. Aronofsky also wants to acquire the talents of The Grey star Liam Neeson for another role in the movie.

At one time or another, you’ve probably seen one of the paintings that various people in a position of power have had commissioned of themselves. One particularly notable portrait out there is that of the Russian general, which someone has taken to an extremely entertaining new level. George Dawe, an English portrait artist who has painted 329 portraits of Russian generals, uses a digital copy of his work as a basis to add his friends, family, and some celebrities into the paintings using Photoshop. So far he’s done a bunch of celebrities, and most of them look amazing. If we didn’t know who these people were, you wouldn’t think twice about whether most of them were a legit Russian general or not. Some look a little off such as Sean Connery, for example, who looks as though he’s just passed gas in a room full of people, and is pleased that none of them can figure out who it was. | Zack Snyder’s Superman Reboot ‘Man Of Steel’ Gets An Official Synopsis
Comic Book Movie has the rundown on an upcoming casting call for Zack Snyder‘s upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise, titled Man of Steel, which also comes with the first official synopsis for the movie. The open casting call will be held in Nanaimo and Ucluelet on Vancouver Island when shooting moves from Chicago to British Columbia on September 21, 2011.
