Each and every week “Sheikie Baby!” MK2Fac3 and “Rowdy Roddy” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? Wednesday is THE DAY for new comics, and as per usual, Henchman21 and MK2Fac3 are here to tell you about all the books that they’re looking forward to. It’s another mirror image week where Henchie McHencherson and SK6Factory3 switch things up while one picks three singles and one collection, while the other does the opposite. I don’t know how much you know about how mirrors work, but that’s the way it goes, dollface. We’ve got a lot of books like Saucer Country, Queen Crab, Avengers Assemble, Saga, The World of Flashpoint featuring Batman, Womathology again, and so much more! Honey child, it’s a big week! Anyway, I don’t even know why I’m writing this, so I’ll see you back in a minute when we get to the meat of The GoD List!

Vertigo Comics
Release date: March 14, 2012

Although Vertigo Comics might have hooked me with Neil Gaiman’s classic Sandman series decades ago, I’ve stuck around all these years because the DC imprint’s line of mature comics has rarely disappointed. With gems like Brian K. Vaughan’s Y: The Last Man, Grant Morrison’s The Invisibles, and Bill Willingham’s Fables and its spin-offs, Vertigo has proven time and again that, plain and simple, they make awesome comics, ones that eventually become classics, embedded in our pop culture.

With Saucer Country, a new series created by writer Paul Cornell and artist Ryan Kelly, it looks like Vertigo has another winner on their hands.

Each and every week “The Crazy 88’s” MK2Fac3 and “Fox Force Five” Henchman21 read a lot of (web) comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of (web) comics. Maybe too many (web) comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t, right? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists RSS Feeds, grab some (web) comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books web comics to look forward to are for the week of February 29, 2012. Single issues panels and trades pages, they’re all here.

We hardly ever talk about web comics here on The GoD List, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some fantastic ones out there. In fact, they are probably more great web comics available for free all across the Internet than there are comics available in stores for $2.99 and up. So, with that in mind, and considering that this week is extremely light in print comics considering the February leap day/fifth week syndrome that has infected comic book publishers, we’re turning our attention to web comics.

Each and every week “Hey, How Ya Doin’?” Henchman21 and “Mustard Head” MK2FAC3 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of September 21, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

This week boasts a load of titles that fit all sorts of niches for all comic book fans. There are titles hitting stores this week like the Comics of Doom-approved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Bionic Man, as well as the latest installments of Daredevil and Invincible. But as great as all of those books are bound to be, they didn’t make it to The GoD List. So then, what did? Well let me give you some hints, two are DC “New 52” titles picked by MK2FAC3, one of which is written by Jill Thompson’s husband. Another comic is a comic based on a movie that’s based on other movies that were based on a television series, while one is B.P.R.D.. And the last book is a go-to “Classic McDavid” pick. Continue on to see just why we picked these books.
