| Honest Trailer: ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. The World’ |
 |

In full disclosure, I hated this movie. Most of my friends loved it, and it is often a topic of divisive conversation. That being said, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World has gained a fairly huge cult following since its 2010 release, and this week it gets the Honest Trailer treatment from the gang at Screen Junkies. I had several issues with the film, and number one is Michael Cera. I’ll put it delicately. I’m not a fan of his work. He has essentially played the same character with the same traits in nearly every one of his films, so much so that This is the End did a hilarious riff on him as a drugged out version of himself, obsessed with excess so much that as he dies on screen he pines for his cell phone. Number two, I felt like I was watching a movie with ADD… first it was teenage rom com, then a music video, then a video game… and I quickly stopped caring. But my biggest issue is something that narrator Jon Bailey picks up on… so let’s get to it! Check out the Honest Trailer below.

| Honest Trailer For Latest James Bond Movie ‘Spectre’ |
 |

James Bond has always been an intriguing character who sparks massive debate over “who played him best?” There are usually two camps: Connery or Craig. Sean Connery was the first, and in many people’s opinion the best Bond, establishing all the tropes that have stayed with the super spy for 6 decades. Daniel Craig, meanwhile, through his first 3 times out has etched a far more gritty Bond, a realistic and darker take on the character that has appealed to fans in the post-Nolan’s Batman world. Confession: I love Roger Moore. Nothing about James Bond seems realistic and I love Moore’s ridiculous over-the-top movies including my personal favorite Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun with the awesome Christopher Lee as the villain. Moore was also great in Octopussy and even the totally whacked out terrible (in a good way) Moonraker. And at least Moore wasn’t a mopey dick! This week, Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers series takes aim at 007, with Craig’s latest and maybe last Bond film, Spectre. Check out the Honest Trailer below.

| Honest Trailer Presents Marvel’s ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’
It makes sense that in the week that Screen Junkies debuts its first original show, Interns of F.I.E.L.D. (review available here), that their Honest Trailer would be for the series that inspired the spoof, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. So suit up… in real suits, not superhero outfits, for the Marvel series that isn’t as good as the movies or as critically acclaimed as the Netflix series… and really Daredevil and Jessica Jones were hella-cool. Check out the Honest Trailer below.
