| Daniel Craig Was Never Offered $150 Million To Reprise James Bond Role For Two Films
It looks like Daniel Craig‘s tenure as James Bond has finally come to an end. Not too long ago, a rumor popped up saying that the actor had been offered $150 million to reprise his role as 007 for back-to-back films. There was a huge lack of evidence to support this claim and Craig didn’t seem the least bit enthused about playing the role a fourth time during the production of Spectre. Now, a new report says that Sony and Eon offered no such deal; in fact, it seems as though Sony has no power to do so since the rights to Bond are currently up for grabs. More on the story below.

| Sony Releases Official Trailer For ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released an official trailer for the next installment of the Underworld series, titled Underworld: Blood Wars. The new trailer is dubbed the “Legacy” trailer. The movie once again sees Kate Beckinsale taking on the role of the vampire Selene, who finds herself in the middle of the ongoing war between vampires and lycans with members of both sides actively trying to kill her. Also starring alongside Beckinsale is Theo James, Lara Pulver, Tobias Menzies, Bradley James, James Faulkner, and Charles Dance. | Daniel Craig Offered $150 Million To Play James Bond Again
Daniel Craig has played the role of James Bond for four films and nearly a decade now. Some might say he’s batting .500 considering that Casino Royale and Skyfall were much better received than Quantum of Solace and Spectre. But now that the distribution rights to James Bond are up in the air, and it is unclear where the franchise can go from here. However, it seems that whoever gets the rights might not have to look too far for a new actor to play the role as it has been reported that Craig has been offered north of $150 million to come back and play the role. | ‘GoTG’ Director James Gunn Defends Zendaya Casting In ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’
Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s diverse casting is a reflection of today’s society. Tony Revolori plays Flash Thompson, Laura Harrier will play Liz Allen, and Jacob Batalon will play Ned Leeds. So as you can see, characters traditionally depicted as Caucasian are being played by minorities, and when those characters were confirmed, there didn’t seem to be any uproar. But when it was announced that Zendaya would be playing Mary Jane Watson, not Michelle, there was an outrage. Unsurprisingly, many came to the defense of the casting decision, most notably James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, who has been be quite vocal about controversial topics like these.
