Jim Lee and Scott Snyder To Create New Superman Series
With a movie coming out next year, 2013 was already primed to be a big year for Superman, but the year just got better for the big blue boyscout thanks to a new series from DC that’s teaming up two of their best creators. Writer Scott Snyder, already riding high on a fantastic run on Batman, will join forces with artist superstar Jim Lee to create a new as yet unnamed Superman series.
Lee is coming off a successful run on Justice League and is no stranger to Supes, having worked on the character before with Brian Azzarello on the “For Tomorrow” storyline.

Each and every week “Alone Again, Naturally” Henchman21 reads a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. He looks forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? It’s kind of a slow week dominated by a couple of big books from both of the major publishers. There’s plenty to get excited about though, and plenty of books to check out. You should also definitely pick up the Criminal Deluxe Edition Hardcover, Vol 2.
Let’s see what books I went more depth into on this week’s GoD List!

Okay, I don’t have time to write much this week, but I’ll give you a rundown on a few comics that you should check out today. No time today for trades or love, Dr. Jones. Also, most of the trades out today are kind of boring. Go back and pick up the newest Darwyn Cooke Parker book if you haven’t already. All right? Let’s do this GoD List thing.

Digital Comics Deal: Celebrate Earth Day With ‘Swamp Thing’
Swamp Thing is a character who blurs the lines of regular man who looks like a monster, a straight up piece of vegetation that looks sort of like a man, and both of things but also an eco-terrorist of sorts, but no matter how you view the character, it’s impossible to deny the fact that some of the greatest writers in comics have either written him or his ancillary characters.
