Though San Diego Comic-Con is reserved for mostly geeky things and nostalgia, sometimes, they like to throw a curveball or two. Take for instance, the Russo Brothers panel. Now, their panel could have been the two just reminiscing about their days toiling and perfecting the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While that was the case for a good portion of the panel, they also talked about some of the other projects they are working on, which includes a gritty police crime drama called 21 Bridges.

The film stars Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) as a NY detective who comes across a crime between two drug dealers and dirty cops. What will he do to get to the truth of it all? HBO has released a second trailer for the upcoming season two of the hit crime drama True Detective, which stars Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch, and Kelly Reilly. Created and written by Nic Pizzolatto, the first two episodes of season two are directed by Justin Lin (Fast and Furious 3-6, Star Trek 3), who takes over for season one director Cary Fukunaga.

HBO has released the first trailer for season two of their acclaimed crime drama anthology series True Detective. The trailer is only a minute long, but still shows off plenty of footage to get fans of the series excited for the sophomore effort.

Season two stars Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch, and Kelly Reilly, with Justin Lin directing the first two episodes of the season. HBO has sent out a press release confirming that Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch, and Kelly Reilly have all signed on for roles in the sophomore season of the anthology series. The actors join previously cast stars Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn.
