| Hugh Jackman Says James Mangold Has “Really Cool” Ideas For ‘The Wolverine’ Sequel
James Mangold‘s The Wolverine could have been a bonafide hit had it not been for some unfortunate scheduling. By the time the film made its debut audiences were pretty much superheroed out. But the film still managed to be a relative hit, even giving Fox enough confidence to explore a sequel and give Mangold another opportunity to direct. The Wolverine is due out on Blu-ray/DVD early next month, so talks of the unconfirmed sequel are still in the works. But Hugh Jackman isn’t one to shy away from talking about the sequel, even if he already feels tired of playing the hero seven times already. In fact some of the ideas being tossed around are “really cool.” Hit the jump to find out more.

To coincide with the upcoming releases, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment launched this week The Wolverine Unleashed Experience, which allows fans to unlock new content, like special features, sneak peeks, and material that bridges the gap between Wolverine’s first solo feature, 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and this year’s The Wolverine. | Watch Now: The Many Screams Of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine
This weekend saw the release of The Wolverine, the direct sequel to 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where Hugh Jackman returns to his iconic title role. Jackman so far has played the mutant Wolverine, with the adamantium-coated skeleton and claws and accelerated healing powers, in six feature films so far (the two aforementioned solo films, the original X-Men trilogy, and a small cameo in the X prequel, X-Men: First Class), and has a headlining role in the next X-Men film, X-Men: Days of Future Past. That’s a lot of screen time! And you can bet if Wolverine is on screen, he’s eventually going to let out a scream or two or ten. Some are screams of sorrow, but most are really grunts of war, followed by a lot of slicing. Vulture has put together a supercut of The Many Screams of Wolverine. Watch the over one-minute video here below and stay till the end for a little chuckle.
