| First Official ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Image Shows How Massive King Kong Might Be
When we found out that there was plans to make a Godzilla vs. King Kong movie, many wondered how Kong would stand a chance against Godzilla considering how insanely big the lizard was in the 2014 reboot. Clearly Kong was going to need a big size boost if they were going to make it interesting. Then last month the size of the new Kong in the upcoming Kong: Skull Island was revealed to be around 100 feet. Though much bigger than the usual 25 to 50 feet, it was still nowhere Godzilla’s 350+ feet. Whether Godzilla vs. King Kong will ever get made is unknown. But for today we have the first official Skull Island image, and it offers an idea of just how huge Kong might be. It’s one thing for someone to say 100 feet. It’s another thing entirely to actually see what it might look like. Check out the image below.

| Rumor: Tom Hiddleston Is In Talks To Play James Bond
Now that Daniel Craig doesn’t seem to be the least bit interested in reprising his role as James Bond, Eon Productions and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are now combing through a list of actors to take the title of 007. As you can imagine, choosing an actor to play such a role is very delicate. But one of the frontrunners named, by the fans, was Tom Hiddleston. If he did join, he join a long list of actors to play James Bond ranging starting from Sean Connery, then moving onto David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and most recently Craig. Craig, recently turned down a $100,000,000 offer to reprise James Bond for a final 2-picture deal, and with that it mind, it seems that despite a few denials, a new rumor has popped up saying Hiddleston’s name has reemerged to the forefront. | Cate Blanchett To Join Marvel Universe In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
After being nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Carol earlier today, Cate Blanchett looks to be jumping from the awards contenders and into another big franchise. It’s being reported that Blanchett has entered into negotiations to star in the third movie in Marvel’s Thor series, Thor: Ragnarok. Which character Blanchett would be taking on in her first superhero/comic book movie role if a deal gets worked out is not yet known, only that it will be one of the new female leads. It’s also not yet known if the role would be specifically for Ragnarok or if it’s a character that will branch out into future Marvel movies such as the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

| Mark Ruffalo Believes ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Will Be A Buddy Movie
The Hulk will finally make an appearance outside of The Avengers films in Thor: Ragnarok. The film is said to see Hulk and Thor set out on a cosmic journey that does not take place on Earth or Asgard. It is rumored that the film could introduce the “Planet Hulk” storyline and the Valkyries, but that has yet to be confirmed. Mark Ruffalo, who recently finalized his deal to appear in the last film of the Thor trilogy, expressed his interest in seeing the relationship between Bruce Banner and Hulk. Now while on his Spotlight press tour, the actor is talking a little bit more about Thor: Ragnarok. According to him, it will be a buddy film with fights in it. Sounds like the makings of another Marvel buddy cop film except now its with demi-gods and monsters. More on the story below.

It was recently confirmed that Mark Ruffalo would be joining the cast of Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok. This would be the first time that the actor has appeared as the Hulk outside the two Avengers films that have been released. However, the size of this role is still unknown, though it is rumored that the Hulk and Thor will be on a cosmic journey that doesn’t take place on Earth or Asgard.
