Warner Bros. has released the newest trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. Based on the video game series of the same name, the film will center on the title adventurer who travels to a fabled temple where her father was last seen. | First Trailer For ‘Tomb Raider’ Movie Reboot Released
The first trailer has been released for Tomb Raider, a reboot of the movie franchise based on the hit 2013 video game…which was itself a reboot of the game series. The movie stars Oscar winner Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, The Danish Girl) as Lara Croft, the daughter of an adventurer who sets off on a quest to the last known destination of her father, who mysteriously disappeared years earlier. A blizzard forces the quartet to take shelter at a stagecoach stopover called Minnie’s Haberdashery where they encounter four strangers: Bob “The Mexican” (Demian Bichir), Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth), Joe Gage (Michael Madsen), and ex-Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Bruce Dern).
