News of Warner Bros. considering pulling back on the number of films released in one year because of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice‘s poor box office performance doesn’t bode well for the studio. Reports say they will be shifting their attention to their franchises that they own.

While that has yet to be confirmed, the studio will be making a few adjustments to their release schedule. Patty Jenkins‘ Wonder Woman is being pushed up while Andy Serkis‘s motion-captured Jungle Book: Origins is being pushed back. More on the story below.

So far Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice isn’t the film that fans hoped it would be, with opinions being mixed to negative. The film has been criticized for its sloppy editing and being overstuffed, but one of the glowing positives about it is Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). If anything, her role in the film only helped get us excited for the character’s solo film.

We already know that Warner Bros. is going to move forward with their plans for the DCEU regardless of what critics think of Dawn of Justice. But to help ease some people’s worries, the studio has released a new image from director Patty Jenkins‘ Wonder Woman movie featuring the title character and some of her fellow Amazons. Check it out below.

During the DC: Dawn of the Justice League special on The CW last night that delivered an awesome new Suicide Squad trailer, we were also gifted the first peek at footage from Warner Brothers’ long awaited Wonder Woman movie.

The movie stars Gal Gadot as the title character and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, and is directed by Patty Jenkins. The footage also includes brief comments by Gadot, Pine, and Jenkins.

But like most of these comic book cinematic universes, it’s not clear if director Patty Jenkins or anyone over at WB and DC would want to follow the comic book storylines to the letter.
