| ‘X-Men’ Producer Wants To Make Channing Tatum The Next Gambit
While doing the press rounds back in September for White House Down, Channing Tatum was asked if he would like to be in a superhero movie. The actor excitedly replied, yes, but went even further by specifically naming Gambit as the hero he would like to play. Tatum’s roles have ranged from exotic dancer to G.I. Joe to Superman (in Lego form for the upcoming The Lego Movie). Tatum said that if he were to play Gambit, he would use a real Cajun accent, given that he has family ties in New Orleans. Now, Lauren Shuler Donner, a producer who has worked on the X-Men films since the very beginning, says that she is dying to make Tatum the next Gambit, but that she has to convince Fox to agree to this.

| ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Character Covers From Empire Magazine
Empire Magazine has been revealing a new character photo every hour from their X-Men: Days Of Future Past exclusive cover set. Nerds everywhere are frothing at the mouth over the photographs, sometimes in a good way…sometimes not. A lot of the characters that we are familiar with haven’t changed a bit, but there are a lot of new faces for us to argue over. Honestly, I do believe director Bryan Singer is trying to do his best to bring audiences something they will love, but whether he makes it happen is going to be up to the ever fickle public opinion. Check out the set here below of covers revealed by Empire today; we’ll be updating the photo gallery as new cover images are released. There will be 25 characters on 25 covers in all.

| Quicksilver Takes His Mutant Name Quite Literally In New ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Image
Heroes and villains have to wear a costume to either protect their identity or create an image in the public’s eye. Now some of these costumes can be cool by being original or literal. But sometimes going the literal route may not be the best choice. Both Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox will have the speedster mutant Quicksilver in their upcoming films. And while we still have a while to see what Marvel has come up with for their interpretation in Avengers: Age of Ultron, we are now getting a first look at what Evan Peters will look like as Quicksilver in Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Hit the jump to see what he looks like.

| Could A ‘Fantastic Four vs. X-Men’ Film Be On Its Way From Fox?
Big comic book cinematic universes seem to be where all the action and attention is these days, following the immense success of Marvel’s ongoing shared universe with their Avengers flagpole title. First, DC Comics took the leap with their in-production Batman vs Superman title that will launch off several DC mainstays into a shared universe, and recently Sony announced big plans to create a huge cinematic universe around the Spider-Man property. Now, rumors are beginning to surface that 20th Century Fox may be doing the same thing around the two big franchises they still control – X-Men and Fantastic Four.

| Anna Paquin’s Rogue Cut From ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’
If you were looking forward to seeing True Blood star Anna Paquin reprise her role as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men: First Class sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, there’s a bit of bad news. As it turns out, Paquin only shot one scene for the movie—a rescue sequence featuring Rogue, Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), and best buddies Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart). In the end, director Bryan Singer simply had too much good content (never a bad thing), and had to sacrifice the scene.
