The sale began at Teefury today, Friday, September 6, 2013, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site for $11 anymore, though it will continue into the next day for $14 (look for the After Hours bar at the top).

I took on this assignment without knowing that there was an illustrated novel and several comic book series preceding it. Mike Mignola‘s name stood out, I like his Hellboy stuff, and have several volumes of that series on my shelf. Plus, it was a #1, so I figured this was a good place to start. It wasn’t. Baltimore: The Infernal Train #1 is intended for readers already familiar with the characters, both seen and unseen. And because it’s so spare, there’s little else to grab your interest. Unless you’ve been chomping at the bit for more stories about vampires. (I haven’t).

Back in July at SDCC, we told you about the first trailer we got to see for the reboot of RoboCop, starring Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson. Now, that trailer has been released online. Watch it here below. RoboCop, directed by Jose Padilha, is scheduled to hit theaters on February 7, 2014.

| Roland Emmerich Has Been Talking To Will Smith About The ‘Independence Day’ Sequel |

Will Smith was once the one star you could bank on making a successful summer blockbuster. But apart from recent efforts like After Earth, a turn to more dramatic projects, and molding his kids’ careers, we haven’t seen the actor grace the big screen much. When plans for a series of Independence Day sequels started to arise, one of the first questions was how many actors would be coming back to reprise their roles. Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum were confirmed to be one of the major stars to return, but according to Roland Emmerich, Smith’s price tag may be too high just to reprise a role. That was back in June. Now the director is singing a slightly different tune as he has revealed that he has been in talks with the actor.
