Guillermo Del Toro‘s Crimson Peak is the big budget gothic-horror film that touts an all-star cast that consists of Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, and Charlie Hunnam. The Victorian house that was built to use as the film’s setting is an actual three-story house, complete with a functioning elevator, bathrooms, and full library, which looks so devilishly creepy, it may very well be haunted. Now, Legendary and Universal have released the teaser trailer for Crimson Peak that is sure to give us scares beyond compare and make us believe that “ghosts are real.” Hit the jump to check it out, as well as images from the film and a new poster.

Released on Friday, February 13, 1970, today marks the 45th anniversary of Black Sabbath, the debut album by the legendary band of the same name. In many ways, Black Sabbath — released on a Friday the 13th like today — stands atop a short list of influential albums which nearly singlehandedly ushered in a sound, genre, influence, and style that continues to be studied and copied endlessly by musicians and bands globally. In Black Sabbath‘s case, they fused together a musical amalgam of Sun Records style rock and roll, doomy blues, classical overtones, jazz complexities, and a drudging sound to create a concoction that had never been heard before it. While many of the most groundbreaking bands in musical history (even The Beatles) sort of wear their influences right on their sleeves (think about Led Zeppelin records), Black Sabbath had a sound, stance, and style that almost was like coming from a mold specifically created for them.

Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol had franchise star Tom Cruise dangling 1,700 feet off the ground of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. In the next installment, Mission: Impossible 5, the action star will be clinging to a plane, which according to reports, was 5,000 feet in the air. And yes, all these stunts were performed by the 52-year-old actor. But if he’s going to be doing all these death-defying stunts, then he’s got to be seen doing it in the right way. Paramount has just announced that Mission: Impossible 5 will be released in IMAX – no 3D, so you can breath easier. Hit the jump for more.

| ‘Hot Pursuit’ Trailer: Reese Witherspoon Must Protect Sofia Vergara
The official trailer for the upcoming comedy Hot Pursuit, formerly known as Don’t Mess with Texas, has been released online by Warner Brothers Pictures. The movie stars Oscar-winning Walk the Line actress (and current Oscar-nominated Wild actress) Reese Witherspoon as a police officer tasked with escorting the key witness in a case against a drug cartel lieutenant, played by Sofia Vergara (Modern Family, Chef), which leads to a chase across Texas as the lieutenant’s hired gunmen try to kill her.
