Paramount has just released the first full trailer for >Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation starring Tom Cruise. This comes a day after the TV spot/teaser was dropped during the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The studio also released the first poster as well as some new images. It is a strange marketing strategy, but not unexpected as the film is slated for a July 2015 release. The film was actually moved up from its Christmas release, to get away from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Check out the first trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation here below.
The full trailer doesn’t give us any huge spoilers, and keeps some of the bigger plot points a secret. From the trailer alone though, we know that that the IMF is hunting the Syndicate, which has been described as the anti-IMF, a dangerous group of terrorist bent on destroying the IMF.
With this new trailer comes even more footage of the action and humor. The action sequences are pretty intense, and it looks like Cruise is getting more involved in doing his own stunts. We even get to see more footage of the actor performing the insane midair stunt.
Paramount has also announced that advanced tickets are available now for Thursday, July 30th showings at 7:00 p.m. in IMAX® and premium large format theaters and 8:00 p.m. at additional participating locations nationwide
Mission: Impossible alum Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner return to reprise their respective roles. They will be joined by Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, and Sean Harris.
Paramount has scheduled Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation for a July 31, 2015 release. It is directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher), and co-written by Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3) and Will Staples.
Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.
