Air Date: Thursday, April 16th, 2015 10pm Last week FX debuted The Comedians a documentary style comedy about the making of a new comedy sketch show: “The Billy & Josh Show” starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad. Only problem”¦ the stars cannot stand one another. The second episode of the show, titled “Come to the House,” demonstrates how the two stars’ combative personalities are affecting those around them. Director Jamie (Steven Weber as a woman) seems to be struggling, while the head writer Mitch (Matt Oberg) can’t seem to get Esme (Megan Ferguson), the assistant, to understand her role”¦ as an assistant. When he suggests a coffee run, she responds, “YES, I’ll take a dirty chai!” Obviously she’s never seen The Devil Wears Prada.

| ‘Flash Gordon’ Movie To Be Directed By Matthew Vaughn
Matthew Vaughn, the director of Layer Cake, Stardust, Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, and Kingsman: The Secret Service, has entered into negotiations to direct a movie based on the classic comic strip Flash Gordon. We found out a year ago now that 20th Century Fox had acquired the rights to try to make a movie based on the comic after multiple studios including as Universal, Sony, and others tried and failed to pull it off. At the time it was also revealed that J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, who penned a draft of the script for Star Trek 3 before Simon Pegg and Doug Jung took over, were penning Flash Gordon. That remains unchanged, with the duo having penned a draft based on a treatment by George Nolfi.

| Pixar Releases First ‘Inside Out’ Clip; Announces Cannes World Premiere
Disney”¢Pixar has announced that their upcoming animated feature Inside Out—the first Pixar movie since 2013’s Monsters University which follows the various emotions at work inside the head of young Riley—will make its world premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. In celebration of the announcement, the first clip for the movie has been released online, and can be watched below. In it, Joy strategizes Riley’s first day of school with fellow emotions Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness.
