In the past, I’ve combed over any and every Batman-related thing that’s come across my path to try and figure out what the secrets are that lie behind what we see at face value. It’s a little something that I like to call a “Bat-Analysis” and most of those items have had something to do with The Dark Knight Rises. So, it’s without question that I would approach the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises with the same mentality. I read a lot of Batman comics and have immersed myself within the content regarding the character, so how could I not? The only problem is, it’s nearly impossible to do that with this trailer. But nonetheless, I present to you my Bat Analysis of The Dark Knight Rises trailer.

Each and every week “The American Dragon” MK2Fac3 and “Long Island Iced C” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of December 21, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about comics, because we’ve got a lot of comics coming out this week that have the potential of being some of the finest of the year. We’ve got the return of Batman Incorporated with two of the best artists working in the business, we get the crazy brought to us by Neal Adams in his Batman Odyssey mini-series, as well as many other titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Scott Snyder’s Batman, Mark Waid’s Daredevil, Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang’s Wonder Woman, Jason Aaron’s Puninshermax, and many other excellent comics. In fact, some of the finest DC Relaunch titles are coming out this week. But there’s no way we could fit all of this awesome into one small list, so what we’ve done is condensed it, much like milk, and unloaded what we consider to be the comics that will blow us out of the water the hardest. Whether they be the most “important” comics, or if they’re just created by our favorites, one thing can be for certain, they’re what we’re looking forward to the most. For we are The HenchFac3, and this is The GoD List.

Blue Goggles Films has put together a bit of a love letter/holiday gift to the makers and fans of Batman: Arkham City with “A Very Arkham City Christmas,” a holiday tale that’s set in the universe of the popular game.
In the short film, writer/director Ben Moody shows us a story in which we see two of The Penguin’s henchman who try to share a Christmas moment with each other after they’ve escaped from a beatdown from The Bat, or so they think. Things don’t go quite as well as they planned, however. In Arkham City, you can never escape The Dark Knight. This video is hilarious and a lot of fun, so make sure to check out the full embedded short film here below.

Batman 66‘s opening title sequence has been recreated by YouTube user lgfb1film through the magic of Legos and stop-motion animation. And it is glorious. Watch the video here below. In what could possibly be described as the greatest thing that you will see today, the Lego adaptation of the classic series’ introduction has painstakingly been recreated down to minor details including a cloth cowl and mask for both Batman and Robin, as well as a Bat-symbol and Bat-mobile created with Legos. Each one of these Legos has been modified by the creator of this video to capture the essence of the 1966 television series.
