During the Legendary Pictures panel at San Diego Comic-Con, director Duncan Jones took the stage in Hall H to discuss his upcoming Warcraft film. He addressed concerns about the pressure associated with adapting a property that’s been around nearly 20 years, and how he deals with the expectations of millions of World of Warcraft players by saying that we deserve to see an origin story how the conflict between orcs and humans began.

| SDCC 2014: Legendary Teases New King Kong Movie ‘Skull Island’
Legendary Pictures booked a large panel today at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H, where they showed footage for their upcoming features, Godzilla, Warcraft, Crimson Peak, Blackhat, and As Above So Below. | SDCC 2014: Guillermo del Toro Premieres ‘Crimson Peak’ Teaser Trailer |

Nerdist News’ Jessica Chobot moderated Legendary Pictures’ San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel on Friday and introduced Guillermo del Toro, who premiered the teaser trailer for his gothic horror film Crimson Peak, starring Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam, and Jessica Chastain. Chobot asked what attracted del Toro to return to the world of gothic horror. Del Toro said he wanted to make a movie that blended two sides of his personality, the painterly style of his Spanish-language films and the FX heavy, action side of films like Hellboy. | SDCC 2014: ‘Godzilla 2’ Confirmed; Featured Monsters Revealed
As part of the Legendary Pictures panel in Hall H as this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Godzilla director Gareth Edwards via a taped video message near the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, CA, thanked all the fans for going to the film, and confirmed that because of the success of the rebooted Japanese behemoth franchise, there will be a second installment in the works. An exclusive clip was shown as well, which resembled an old top secret Governmental film, replete with classic footage from the era the original Godzilla came out in the 1950s, and narrated by a John F. Kennedy soundalike, in which the classic thrillers of flight Rodan, Ghidorah, and Mothra take to the skies for what looks to be a bang-up film.
